I have watched a lot of kdramas but this is totally on a different level. I have never been so invested in a kdrama…
That's what. Like this is his first acting role, never played any side roles before. He must have had a hella impressive audition. His looks fit the role perfectly too. I hope someone would release snippets of him doing theatre.
Not sure if anyone watches yaoi/BL but the movie Doukyuusei is a must watch if you liked this drama! It's only…
The synopsis- A boy met a boy. They were in the flush of youth. They were in love that felt like a dream, like sparkling soda pop. High school students Hikaru Kusakabe and Rihito Sajou are as different as day and night. But opposites attract and before they know it, they've embarked on a journey neither one can quite define but which anyone with eyes can see is "Love."

Chugakusei Nikki really has to be applauded for how engaging the drama is. No viewer is passive here everyone is active and trying to understand them and the situation they are in. The drama is doing a great job with stirring our inner most feelings up and is truly making the viewers question about what is right or wrong. The feelings involved are intricate and that's what makes this drama beautiful. Also hats off to the person who chose Okada Kenshi. How is he managing to pull off such a difficult role when he has no prior experience is something baffling.
even i feel the same. k-dramas are just not going deep anymore. The love in recent rom-coms feel superficial.…
I find kdramas too pretentious and superficial most of the times too. 90s/00s era reminds me of Long Vacation and Tatta Hitotsu No koi which are my favourites. Chugakusei Nikki is doing a great job shaking up everyone's emotion while providing a great cinematographic experience.
Saw the teaser but unsure of it's story. The thing with kdramas is that they lack consistency. They start of great but somewhere in the middle the story goes haywire. I really like both the leads so I have high expectations. I'll fill the void of chugakusei nikki by watching chugakusei nikki again XD
Idk if Long Vacation and Tatta Hitotsu No Koi were part of the junai era but they are personally my favourite Japanese dramas. Chugakusei Nikki is similar because of how untainted and pure love between the characters is. Gosh, I do hope it triggers more dramas like this one, it's because of dramas like these that my heart still believes in the notion of love.
Why did they even make season 3?
It's one of my favourite mangas and they really did create magic in just 1 hour!

Did you see that video of Okada Kenshi announcing the timing delay?! Super cute.
