No, it’s not that controversial. This is originally a Canadian series, and the topic had been dealt with in books and movies for years.

Looks like all the dramas that has more serious topics like death. People tend to avoid those. I hardly never look at earrings, because there are so many reasons why they are low. It is also a weekend drama, which means it has lots of competition from other dramas and other stuff people wants to do. And that number only tells us how many Korean turns on the TV the when the drama is airing.

She is 100% compassionate all the time, either with saving people or letting those dying to not suffer… That is her core as a person.

She is not, though… I have seen almost everything she has done, and I can’t think of one remake she has been in.

It’s a remake of a Canadian series, so that is not the reason.

So you watch for the fetishisation, and at the same time is homophobic…

In a way, I do agree. But as a Northern European, I am long down the list of priorities when it comes to availability. I have quite a few subscriptions here and there, but a lot will never be available here. And I also watch quite a lot of old kdramas, which often only is available on pirated platforms.

That is what you require, not what defines what type of seriesit is. I saw budding love evolving, didn’t need more for this to be a beautiful story. Not all love stories need intimacy, and not everyone need promotions, ships and so on. Why not admit that this was not your taste and move on?
