This movie glamorized bad decisions or even cowardice. It was forgettable.I know that people pretend to like arthouse…
So since you didn’t understand and disliked this movie, everyone else just pretends to like it to show class. Just wow…
People are different, and like different things. This movie did not glorify anything. It told a deaper story about life, with all its imperfections, and how you can grow by take a painful look inside yourself.
Not understanding the movie, doesn’t make a good movie bad. It means it wasn’t for you. And that’s okay.
Earlier I made a wish about seeing Uhm Tae Goo as a lead in a romantic drama. Now my wish has been granted, and I’m here for it. If it becomes a bit silly, I will just repeat the mantra: “You came for Uhm Tae Goo and his voice”
Would not call it crazy ex. More like former fist love/satong show contestant that wants to be in the limelight. But we don’t really know what direction that will take, since it was just a hint in the last episode and the teaser for the next. And those things can really trick you to believe the wrong thing.
Sadly, I have seen this a lot lately. Like dramas marked with romance, but in the end nothing happened. Maybe…
Luckily I was quickly able to shake off my first expectation, because I saw that this was not going to be a fight for survival. Sinai ended up liking it.
But I a curious about what the Korean and Japanese titles were?
Yes, the criminals were trafficking children. A lot were revealed in the 7 episodes you skipped. No bad people…
They were locals. In the beginning, money was a possibility to get away, because the refugees were selected and many paid their way out. So they didn’t have the possibility to go for refugees, because they were stuck themselves. And probably some of them just used them for their own pleasure.
After episode 3 I skipped to the end because it was just too boring, but I'm wondering if it was ever explained…

This actually happened when Ukrainians fled, in the beginning of the war. Human traffickers were picking up young girls at the border, saying they were there to help. So that they did it in the drama, was quite logical.
I don't agree with comments on the site most of the time. It's the case here, again. I don't support people having…
The problem with this rating, is that a lot of Yoo Ah In haters rushed in and gave it 1, whith watching it. After watching many dramas, and have a pretty good feeling about ratings on MDL, I would expect something around 7,5. I have never seen a rating this much off. I have a thousand mile long list, I am glad I watched this. But then again, I like psychological slice of life dramas.
Just saying, the rating here is not a reason why it should be dropped. It’s the preference of what you like.
Prime example of:1. Useless English title.2. Wrong marketing message. The original Japanese and Korean titles are…
