So I need to talk about Jeon Sung-woo. To see him play such a horrific villain was hard to watch because he did such a brilliant job. We need to talk about why season 2 fell short vs season 1. I was extremely annoyed by the fact the killer of Do Jin killed his victims immediately. The mall bombing saw Seol pretty much unscathed and yet the entire second floor of steel and cement fell around her? Then when there was no oxygen she survived it? Then the second attempt the elevator bomb with her secured to the rail. He was after her and he gave plenty of time for her to be saved! Then the death of Moon. You knew that was coming because he was going alone! Then the fake death of Jin. I knew when the prosecutor had the card and reloaded the criminal dna list that he was still alive! It was such a poorly written script and yet season one was awesome. Why did Do Jin have to be killed. It wasn't necessary. He was a role that was valuable to the series. But I guess the whole purpose of the two entire seasons wasn't really about team work. It was all about Detective Jin being the hero and the leading up to his and a non essential character Seol. It is hard to find any just good ole action packed or mystery or thrillers where the writes add romances which is pretty much same stick different to extend the series. So if I am to rate First Responders I give season one a 5+ stars. Season 2: 3 stars. If they decide to make a season 3, I really hope it is as impressive as seaon 1 to make up for season 2!

I absolutely loved this show from start to end! If I could rate it 1000 out of 10 I would. A reboot that is great news! I hope Netflix picks it up.
