I really liked only few episodes - when she came and found him in Hong Kong, because there his feelings(even if it is shame and pain) are visible and understandable.

Ive finished the novel few days ago. I agree that the vibes of drama and novel are a bit different. Not much though. In novel Zhang Lu Rang is much more lonely than in drama. It doesnt feel so tragic in drama. And I think it emphasizes Su Zai Zai's importance for him. And all changes that she made with his life. In a drama he has friends and it feels lighter. In novel Zhang Lu Rang is more conservative and Su Zai Za is more provocative.
