Try 'you are my hero' starring Bai jing ting. Story is good and they are kind of special forces. But they do look…
I think South East Asians(I repeat South East Asians, like people from Japan, China, Korea and you can even include Indians from North East) does look like it. Their age doesnot show on their faces. I specifically mentioned North east India because people from South and North India looks different compared to North easterners. Mostly India, Srilanka, Pakistan and other west asian/middle east like Saudi Arabia, UAE looks similar but once we go to the East Asian region(excluding Russians), they kind of look like this even with or without muscles. Their body is like that. I think people living in countries that lies Eastern side of India( Myanmmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam..again Bangladesh is an exception there), are similar. I think that all depends upon their Mongoloid origin. Their facial features, body structure are entirely different to the people living in countries to the West and North of India. I'm using India as a reference point here since they have all kinds of people and a culmination of different kinds of people there. And Asia is so big that India and China itself holds almost half of Worlds population. So its quite natural that we are experiencing there kind of diverseness.
Why the malelead's face is so white? And the lipstick is too pink on him. I have watched many of his Korean drama. He is a fantastic actor and handsome even with out white wash and lipstick. I know that Korean series also use make up but he looks so natural in Empress Ki. Here his face is so bright and make up actually ruined his natural face. And the eyeliner is so distracting. Why Chinese dramas are so obsessed with fairness?? All actors and actresses are already fair even without make up. When westerners want their skin to be tanned where as we Asians are so obsessed with fairness.
I long heard Joseph Zeng looks like Dilraba. I didn't expect he is super tiny, if he dresses up as female, he…
Her eye makeup is onething which I really cant stand. She looked good in Legend of Yunxi. I think this redeye make up thing started with Ruyi Pavillion. She had the same make up in modern drama "Love under full moon". She has this super white kind of make up. I really dont know why people go for that kind of looks when they already look beautiful with no make up.
Well, am from India, world's second most populated country after China. Here we dont follow that system. A baby is one year, one year after birth. Anyway, this is the first time am hearing something like that. But how can they say one year old, when the baby hardly stays for 9 month in her/his mom's womb??
What? 24 is not young, then what?? I'm from Asia and I didnt know there is something called Asian age. Though I do agree East Asians have some super kind of genes. They look young even in their sixties.
That's very true - JJY and Zhao Lusi are the same - they default to their comfort zone characterisations that…
Stand by me, a few episodes here and there(wonder why Cheng Yi dont have many drama to his credit. He deserves more). A hell lot of politics in the drama. Now, am waiting for Agarwood like crumbs. I have watched other two series, Long ballard(good pair and acting though didnt liked the story much) and Love better than immortality. I must say Li Hongyi is another promising actor. Very recently I started watching "a female arrives at the imperial college", but I didnt like it much. Nothing excited me except Zhao Lusi's character there. I tried Ten miles of peach blossoms and Ashes of love but couldnt find the connection(for me to watch a particular drama, I have to find a connection there. I'm saying this because fans of these series may attack me for not liking these series. And I dont want to start a fan war. I dont enjoy or have time to start a war over some fictional characters. But let me clear my stand, its nothing to do with the series and its all about, am unable to find that connection. To find that connection, I usually watch a few episodes, then if I couldnt get it, then I would leave the series). I have watched 3 modern dramas, Unforgettable love(good one and I loved the kid), I hear you(yeah, I know a few years old. Riley Wang and Zhao Lusi makes a good pair. Finally, Love is sweet. Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi did well and I loved the series.

I like actors who can act. My personal favourites are Xu Kai and Cheng Yi. But Xukai is the reason why I started watching c-dramas. A few months back, I was at a dark place, negative thoughts were over powering me and I wanted some kind of distraction to get out of it. Started watching random things on youtube and then this falling in love second episode poped up. Just a recommendation by youtube. To be frank, I didnt like the lead actor at all. I thought God Ming was the leading man and I wanted him to be the hero. But then I realised how wrong I was. I was planning to sleep after watching 2 episodes, then it went on to like 18 episdodes in a single night. Because at that point, 18 episodes was only available. They were still airing the drama. Then I started watching all of his past works. Did complete everything except Xanxi palace and Lingjiyan Mountain. I think I have to tell you that, it wasnot Xukai's looks that appealed me to watch his drama. It was his acting. I'm not saying he is bad looking(he is really a handsome guy). But his acting overpowered his looks for me atleast. Then I watched a few other series like Love is sweet, Legend of Yunxi, Word of honor, Ruyi Pavillion, Begin Again, Go ahead, Goodbye Princess, Love and redemption and so on. Cheng Yi became another favourite because of L&R. The common thing about both actors is they both can act. They both express emotions beautifully.

Xu kai is indeed damn lucky. His roles are pretty different. Be it stoic ChenLan, flirty and playful Gu yangzhen, cold Bai jue, straight faced and warm Lu si cheng. And the actor does know how to act. My favourite is Gu yang chen.

Her eyeshadow irritates me the most. Why does she keep applying that? Be it love under the full moon or Ruyi Pavllion, its so damn irritating. Its like she has conjunctivitis.
I think it has something to do with the character. In The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion, ML is stoic and aloof. In this…
Its not Ruyi where ML is stoic. Its Legend of Yunxi. You might have confused it because same pair is in both drama. Infact, ML in Ruyi is playful and flirty compared to stoic one in Yunxi.
