somebody gave "English" role names here for Neo and Chao Yue (romanized form), they are not equivalent, I mean Chinese characters used in the role names differ from Chinese characters in actors' real names:

侯明昊 Hou Ming Hao (Neo) plays as 侯浩 Hou Hao
杨超越 Yang Chao Yue plays as 杨玥 Yang Yue

I was looking for the meaning of the taken role names
浩 Hao translates as "grand; vast;"
and 玥 Yue translates as "mysterious gem; pearl" from Japanese (or "pearl used in sacrifice")

still on the show (weibo) they are called by nicknames:
小猴 Xiao Hou - little monkey
小羊 Xiao Yang - little sheep
(also homophones)

who is bored? I'm not, and Neo didn't have any romance in a drama for a long time so.... (his previous "romance" drama WWWY had no kissing scenes with FL and didn't count much as such)

there is, there is, and I like the surprise they've given us with it, too!

i don't see any problem in having a romance in the drama.... it's sth i didn't expect here and i like it, and the trailer with romantic scenes looks promising to me,
although it shows as well that the relationship between the two characters is more compliacted and ambiguous
