That's why I admire the director who managed to make an art out of it by concentrating on visual aspects, music, and on building up the amosphere rather than on explaining the plot. I don't think there are any explanations LOL... Kennedy Xu is a bussinesman after all, established several companies & publishing studios and knows how to make money. If you give people an answer in book vol.1 or vol.2, they won't buy vol.4, vol.5 and vol.8... And by the time they read vol. 8 they will already forget what chaos he created in vol.2... so do they really need any explanation?

Neo had really fun and good time there on that day, when they were recording ep. 8 he stole Xu Wei Zhou's dance partner 高雪 Vivian and they filmed together an ad for Shanghai Country Garden which was housing Shake It Up (some parts of the show were shot in there). Their dance looks spontaneous and like they didn't even want to make retakes, Neo's all shy and clumsy but it's so sweet. It was during filming of "The Lost Tomb", if this happened strictly on the drama set I'm not sure. It affected his physical condition on June 13 when he met with Mc Grady, and at that time fans were worring whether he could recover before Shake It Up.
Fortunately he'd got better before the recording, he started preparing his battle dance 3 days before his first day on the show (the solo dance performed in front of coaches in the evening of July 5) and stayed in the show studio for 2 days (ep.1,3-4).
On July 18 he still suffered from the injury when he played his first match in SPL.

Neo was really looking forward to the meeting with his basketball idol Tracy McGrady, as you know he had his leg injured in June when he had the first chance to meet with McGrady so he couldn't really play in the field, still he had hopes for the next meeting in September. Unfortunately the recording of the final episode of SHIU got scheduled on the same day (only several hours later, late in the night) I watched some fancam of the match, it looked like Neo was avoiding a game and any confrontation, and I assume it had been discussed before within the team to protect Neo, because during the game other players didn't pass a ball to him or didn't attack him. I guess it must have been really hard and awkward to him becuase Tracy McGrady was there but again he couldn't play. He had always dreamt to meet with his idol and he lost his second chance to show off in front of McGrady.
