This drama fell off after around episode 7. It became draggy afterwards. It got even worse the last few episodes. Got way too predictable even for a rom-com. Everyone was talking about how emotional last two episodes were but it wasn't at all. Those were done many times before and much better too. It's like the writer cobbled up every cliches out there and formed a messy show. And song kang failed to deliver almost everytime. I was hoping he'd improve after first few episodes. But no. His acting is one of the reasons why the touching scenes in the last two episodes don't hit at all.
I'm convinced this drama got popular internationally mostly because song kang is handsome and just both his and yoo jung's visuals. That's usually the criteria for international popularity of a kdrama. If it wasn't for his looks, this drama would be one of the most hated dramas both because of his acting and the story. It's not even that big in korea. In fact, it's kim yoo jung's drama with the lowest rating (aired on free channel)
Started watching after seeing so much hype about the leads chemistry. The drama is pretty decent. But song kang clearly lacks acting wise. His acting is really bland. And their chemistry is over hyped way too much because it's not even that good. It's mostly because of kang's bland acting. It becomes really obvious during his scenes with yoo jung, hence their chemistry doesn't feel natural. But yoo jung is a great actress and she's good at developing chemistry with her co-stars, so their chemistry isn't too bad.
