Not Xu Yan being a shipper for Qiao Lin and Yu Yi Ming 😭. But one thing about her sister is that she’s self-centered(ok, they both are, but I get XY's own) because of the way she was trained, she only sees things from her POV, not from XY’s. I just hope Lin Tao doesn’t become a big problem later; thank goodness Shen Haoming took care of him for now. Also, Xu Yan and Shen Haoming really have chemistry. I just want them to go through the divorce arc and then start fresh, get to know each other better, rediscover each other, because right now their red flags are blinding and immaculate 💀.

SH really knows she’s lying. I just hope he doesn’t cheat on her. He must be hiding a massive secret to go along with the lie, especially the way he covered for her when her real parents came in Ep 5. And then the promise she made to her grandma 😭. My anxiety keeps rising with each episode, Lusi, you did this one 🥲.

When these lies are exposed, it will be like a snap shattering a glass house, everything will come crashing down, and it will only take one lie for it to be ruined. Gosh, I will feel so bad for Xu Yan because she worked hard but that's how lies work. Someone please tell it wasn't so bad 😔

Not me rewatching this drama exactly two years later. I'm currently on episode 19—it’s like the drama summoned me to watch it. Totally coincidental, because I didn’t even realize it was the 2nd anniversary until now, and it’s exactly two years. I’m going through the angst and pain all over again. I can't even… all for Leo Luo and Bai Lu. Their acting in TTEOTM is top-notch. Though I still dislike Ye Xiwu/Li Susu, and YBC will forever get my hatred. I'm in love with their toxic love, and I’d love a second season where they’re happy—with no betrayal or manipulation—but I’ll take Love is Sweet as a consolation. Happy 2nd anniversary to one of my favorite Xianxia dramas🥰.

I was expecting the temporary separation—trust Kdrama writers to add their cliché elements to dramas. However, I just hope what the psycho said has enough impact to justify ML's actions; otherwise, it might ruin this beautifully made drama (maybe just a bit tho).
