This drama is worth at least a re-watch, if not more. Many of us have watched this drama multiple times. Myself,…
@MK916 Indeed, titealicia0108 summaries are interesting to watch. Maybe not related to the drama per se but Lavender Moon interviews with both Dilraba & Leo are also interesting. I don't know why but I have the impression that Leo Wu Lei is attracted to Dilraba. There is a link: 【吴磊LeoWu/迪丽热巴Dilraba】- 歌隼cp五四晚会糖点细节+阿诗勒.没有正脸.隼+30迷妹专访精华 on youtube and @02:56, Leo Wu Lei made this laugh, similar to one his foster father makes in the drama. Dilraba didn't react, not even smiled but when you look back at Leo, he seemed to felt very uncomfortable standing next to her.

babepiggie - thank you for having me :) Yeah, I remember she mentioned to Ashile Sun she wants to live in countryside. As for the wish - I also noticed the intimate glare in his eyes ... hmm... even got goose-bumps

WK1 - Thank you for your warm welcome :) As for your reply: 1) I did understand that the young women were used as 'tools' back then, and this is why I was taken back (in a good way) when Li Channge stood up for herself. Personally, her struggles for survival were painful to watch. A princess, she even became a slave for the sake of others' well-being... somewhat reminded me of Gladiator (dropping the princess title). Nowadays there is no much difference in marrying daughters away for political reasons (e.g., Dubai ruler was in talks to give away his 12-years-old daughter to a Saudi Prince to improve their collaboration & prosperity between both Saudi Arabia and the UAE); 2) I haven't read manhua itself, only comments about it from other readers; 3) I re-watched the 'tree' moment... but am now even more clueless. That's why I mentioned the original manhua - maybe it was mentioned there. But you are more than welcome to share with me your thoughts :) ; 4) I will check the link after I will find it, thank you!
After finishing watching TLB, the most I felt sorry for is Mu Jin... such a handsome and caring young man, and yet experienced such loss. Also, I am very impressed that Dilraba, as a princess (regardless, representing either Tang Dynasty or later Mobei) gave up her princess title for love... would such a step be common during Tang Dynasty from a historical point of view? And especially from a woman? How much power/say woman did have those days? As for the drama itself, even though originally it is based on manhua, it was well executed by the entire production team. Plus, interesting... what was the third wish Ashile Sun said to Li Changge... hmm I was searching for the answer on the internet & wanted to find the original manhua in English but no luck so far... :(
