On It's Okay, That's Love Sep 15, 2014
Finally a kdrama that does feel human. I decided to watch because of Song Dong Il and Lee Kwang Soo (yes I didn't care about the main cast). The chaotic house scenes remembered me of the Reply series which I loved.

Lots of different personnality interacting with each other with a major + that I am passionnate about : mental health. Frankly I was scared they would screw it up. But they successfully represented mental health treatment being biological (meds) psychological (sessions and counseling) and social (group treatments x family involved). And they even showed counseling between co workers. JANG !

I hope this show will help get rid of taboo agains mental health. It's a 10/10 for me. Not only for the mental health aspect but for the realism and human aspect of the drama.

Title It's Okay, That's Love Spoiler
I super hated and loathed Hae Soo's mother straight to the end, she was a real bitch for being unfaithful to her…
Wow really ? I understand HS's trauma. When you are young you can feel betrayed seeing your mother having an affaire but I don't know in what world do you guys live. I could never blame her infidelity. Her husband as what is the ''role'' of a husband is gone. What she has left is that family member which she care for and have to care for as a helper. I 100% empathise with her. It is physically and mentally exhausting to take care of persons who are totally dependant. How can't she have the right to love again in all it's forms ??? I'm not for slapping your children as she did but it is a more than present aspect in kdrama that I always hate.

Title Bitter Blood
Aha! Now this looks interesting and different! Detective dramas are nothing new to the Japanese drama industry…
For me it's not a first. . . Father and guns, a movie from Québec,Canada has that same plot and I wouldn't be surprise if it would have been inspired by it.

I don't find this bad news at all. Anyone who did something illegal should be punished by law; that's about it.
@ CheerfulSoul :True ! BUT I live in one of those country and I clearly know from dealing with those people everyday that there are not only sentance in prison nor ''specialised prison for drug addict''. There are sentance in society where you have to be in your home 24h/24 with a phone monitoring + meeting twice a month with your '' community counselor'' (approximate traduction of this job in english). There are multiple options. . . Frankly, what I care the most in this case is not for those women but for that baby who will be away from his mother in a crucial age for his attachment pattern. . .

Let me add a word here peeps. I am currently doing an internship with people that have received a sentance and have an addiction. Let's take that case of that normal person CheerfulSoul is talking about. Let's say he received his first sentance for being in possession of methamphetamine. Let's put him in jail = Learning from the best school for delinquency. Do not think jail is all pink and fluffy. You are putting an addicted person with a ton of : dealers, criminals, killers, etc.

Which is why, a judge can sentance someone for rehabilitation. It is mostly like a prison : secure, supervision with an incredible + : program, tools, workshop, counseling, acces to a psychologue and a specialist. Yes these people are present in people but the surrounding is too criminogenic to be as much efficient.

In short you can make someone pay but wisely so that he doesn't come back

From what I have read, Propofol is an hypnotic drug that is used as an anesthetic in medecin. It is known to make the patient recover better than other anesthetic, which could be a reason why it is used as a drug. Let's face it, using a drug you can fastly recover from is alot more subtle (personal opinion). The thing is that : it's not the type of drug you would find on the street, you mostly get that from someone doing traffic in a hospital. It does have an addictive potential. Someone quite addict could go through 100 injections of 50mg a day ! If those actress have been using this for a long period of time. . . 180 injections isn't much I guess, tho we don't know the quantity used and of course it could be more than what we know. An overdose of this drug may cause a respiratory failure.

In Dramaland. . . Whenever you have that character with poor health that needs pure air they think -> Canada
I think once there was also something about pure glacier water from Canada in a drama :/
So I hope one day they won't just talk about it and actually set foot there !!! :P

Title The Family Game Spoiler
damn I just dropped this....the lead is overacting....annoying..
If you push it a little more you could find out that it's not overacting, it's the character. By ''overacting'' like such he can create a disequilibrium within the family, get them out of their comfort zone. People in a change processus goes through disequilibrium. Depression can be seen as one sometimes. But of course it's all an interpretation matter if you liked it or not ! Just giving you another point of view perhaps :D

I loved this drama and even grew to admire the work of the actors. Imagine how many hours they had to practice to get a hang of those moves ? You can see on youtube videos of their practice session behind camera !
