Hmm.... So.. According to the last frame, the kid will probably die too and he's ending old, blind and alone (oops I missed a scene it seems, or abandoning his kid for the void, idk). Let's be honest, that cute baby is floating around with radiations and her body will never be able to endure earth gravity or even a landing.
Not sure what was the message of the story: his mother died while having him, his adoptive mother abandoned her baby because she wanted to live, his 3 mothers lived in poverty to pay for his studies, his ex-girlfriend almost died because of an ectopic pregnancy, the mouse almost died too because of the pregnancy, then Eve died because of pregnancy complications. (and the child probably died too later) ... and then you have the men around them, starting with that old man who see women like baby machines and doesn't care about his own daughter's life and holding his daughter in law in hostage, Eve's ex that cheated on her not even a week later with a co-worker and friend of hers (btw, the baby could have been his too...), Ryong doing the same..ok...but it's his sudden obsession with her in less than a week that annoyed me, not the cheating. In a few days he risked his life to save her than threw a tantrum over some cells and told her he should have let her died instead (wow) then came back like a puppy, to grab her by the collar later over another cell. The writer made me hate him so much that it's unfair for the actor. So I think the message was: Stay away from men and don't have kids or it will ruin your life but with some pro-life propaganda mixed in it? In the end, they are still pushing for a heir for that old man....
I will stay away from that writer as well. The dialogs were horrible and the writing uneven.
On the good side: OST, ISS scenes (too bad that they mixed realistic space parts with unrealistic ones) Strong and rational female characters, good at their job (but they still send the man to save her).
Then what? She will stay in space until the baby is 20yo and able to travel back to earth? I wonder what drama logic they will use here. Maybe there will stay there forever and be a happy space family.

I believe they were just friends of his mother or coworkers, they must say it in the first episode. In Korean he call them eommadeul meaning mothers, but I doubt he's officially adopted or in the same family registry. I dunno.
But... even not biologically,...For instance: IF that mother had adopted him officially (which I doubt) and then recognize Eve as her daughter and add her to the family registry (which I also doubt), they would be officially siblings. But I'm sure they won't go there.

I thought they let mice there. Edit: The mice were in the cargo that was supposed to leave first but I don't think they mention it again. BUT they said : the males should be separated and there was 30% of capacity left...which in drama logic translates as "baby mice on the way"...I think.
And all of this happened in one week! The next week will be hell for him, if they investigate they will find out about his illicit activities, that he's responsible for getting stuck there which cost an expensive and dangerous rescue, and yeah, his (ex) girlfriend will find out about Eve too...and the father will freak out about that cell still in space...
It was fun to watch. Is there a second season? Because there are elements here that seemed unimportant unless there is another season. Like the fact he's rich , that he joined a group to make money. I was expecting more about that backstory.

It's not the greatest but it had potential. It started like an over the top comedy with ML almost being portrayed as a pimp with his moms and the father using women around him for his genes, all of this was very exaggerated and somehow funny (but a bit misogynistic). Then, we got the space part that was rather realistic and serious for a while, as someone who watched many videos from the spatial station, I was very enthusiastic, until it gets unrealistic again. Not that I hate fantasy... but after those serious parts I had forgotten it was an over the top comedy.
Things that annoyed me:
-Dialogs. Sometimes it felt like an old man wrote them. Made me cringe. It has nothing to do scientists talking about sex.
-Male lead. A bit too dumb perhaps? I didn't mind the "cheating" part, stuff happens, but I don't know. Maybe too childish? I liked all other characters (including that other cheater) but his character was just frustrating to watch. I tried... but didn't feel anything toward that character, so I couldn't appreciate the romance like other viewers.
-The pacing.
-Mix of very unrealistic parts with realistic ones. For instance, that walk in the space which was very serious until ML got out. I don't know if I'm watching Spaceball or Apollo 13. it confuses me.
Things I liked:
-Space! It was very well done. The station, material, even the food! Yes astronauts like Sriracha in space and do keep some booze hidden.
-Characters, especially astronauts. Probably based on real astronauts.
-OST
-That over the top first episode.
People like or dislike for personal reasons. It shouldn't stop others to watch it.
