Feel free to move past this because your comment was two days ago but I think the replies you got were overly focused on the scandal itself and how true it was or not which I don't think was your point. Not that I agree with you because you're essentially making the point that because he made a lot of money, he should have what? not gotten into a relationship that turned sour? not enter a relationship at all? why? if a crime occurred or something morally wrong was done, I might understand your point a bit more but this was literally a bad relationship and money or not, I don't think people should be punished for that. I will agree that not communicating with sponsors was a bad (and dumb) move and whatnot but it's not particularly a moral failing as you're making it out to be. I will even go on to say that that's what agencies are for. In an event like this where it's likely that a person might react rashly or instinctively, his agency should have stepped up. If he wasn't communicating with them, they should have communicated with sponsors and the like, why didn't they? I think the agency dropped the ball way more and if going silent for 3 days is a big deal enough for you (as is your right), it makes sense to also be against the agency and try to avoid any other thing or person they may be involved in. Lastly I agree that playing a father, no matter how many years away from this controversy it might be, might never sell to the audience because of the controversy. It's just how these things work. But why does he have to play a father? It's not like that's the majority of roles being offered, there are tons and tons of other roles. In fact, there are roles that can still involve some sort of guardianship or parental relationship with a child where the man doesn't have to be a father.
