1000/10 , this is the best korean BL there is atm. And I'm saying this with all my heart and soul. My feelings went on a total rollercoaster with this series. They made me happy, surprised me, shocked me to death and comforted me. The actors: AMAZING, STUNNING, BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED, ONE OF A KIND, NEVER THE SAME, GORGEOUS, BREATHTAKING. The tears I have cried, the inner fangirl feeling which let me ascend to heaven, I am beyond blessed. This drama plays in another league than the popular dramas like Semantic Error or even the recent drama Love Tractor. This is comparable to the Kdramas they show on Netflix these days. The only thing what's good about step by step is Mr.Jeng's actor. But even his gorgeous body and visuals can't make up for a storyline this boring and tiring. Also he lost me with the "it's alright" lines, in their first kiss scene....goddamn that sh*t was cringy af.
This series is really worth the watch, so many sweet moments and Yechan is the most sweetest floof of happiness I have ever seen. The confidence with how they approached this love story is phenomenal. No unnecessary toxic plot twists, being direct with their feelings towards each other, hahhh, that was truly refreshing for a korean BL. I am BEYOND speechless. Definitely got the 9/10 for me. My only critique would be, that it has ended too soon ..T°T.
Well that was quiet sth..It was srsly way too long and had too many unnecessary filler plot twists. I'm utterly shocked by the immaturity of the FL's father's role. In general, I had the feeling, that the elders in this drama were the ones with the most childish behavior. They're were all too whiny and almost every episode on the edge of their tears.
The constant back and forth between the lead roles was very annoying and mostly frustrating. I've never seen a love story in a Kdrama this complicated and ridiculous.
I enjoyed the comedy segments in a lot of scenes which made this show somewhat fun to watch. I also loved the roles of the ML's Stepmom and her daughter Seryeon. They were hilarious and entertaining. The roles of the kids helped me to like this show. The characters grew on me from time to time and I must confirm, I had a few tears falling down my face while Anna Kim was laying in bed crying and reunited with her daughter.
To put it in a nutshell: Have patience while watching this and don't give up, it has its good and funny sides and I think every actor did an amazing job in this huge production :)
Just finished this amazing BL ! It was absolutely fantastic. I'm actually not a fan of the overused school theme in these thai BLs but I think this one pulled it off. The actors had a phenomenal chemistry and the kiss scene in the 5th episode, holy moly that's what I call kissing. The lovey dovey eyes they were giving each other looked so real and the rival behavior between them was so ridiculously funny, I had a really great time bingewatching this show the last few days.I also adored the fact that we got GL in here and that there's a whole Spin Off of the couple. I'm so excited to watch this as well 🥰. Hands down one of the best BL's I have seen so far!
I honestly thought it would've been better by all the hype its getting atm. It was cute at some points that I almost felt the sugar rush ngl, but it left me disappointed and longing in terms of a good plot. The same themes over and over again in these BL school sceneries I'm really starting to get bored T°T, not even that, the unnecessary jealousy, miscommunication which could've been avoided by just talking to each other, also the overdramatic cheating scenes. These things are always making it hard for me to really enjoy such a series. At least the male leads had a nice chemistry. I loved the seduction game of Mark. Very strong, power bottom energy. Boy knows what he wants. Also the post credit scene in the last episode was quite refreshing ;D. I'm sticking with my pov, that this series had too many foreseen 'plot twists' which made it unnecessary complicated for the main couple to be in a relationship. It's still a good watch tho, especially compared to other thai BLs in the same genre and setting. All in all a solid 6.5 for me✌
Tharn Type season one, is the Prequel to LBC season one. Some of the secondary characters in LBC are actually more important characters in TharnType. Its completely up to you in which chronological order you decide to watch this. It doesn't have a great impact on the story because the productions of these two series weren't the same. Also some of the same roles were played by different actors. It confused me a little tbh. But I decided to watch it in the order when it came out. (LBC 1 in 2018, Tharn Type in 2019, LBC 2 in 2020, Tharn Type 2 in 2021.)

I get what you mean, I have the same experience with SOTUS, Together With Me, 2 Moons and I Am Your King. I watched these shows when they were just uploaded to YouTube back in like 2016. It was so cute and adorable and my younger self definitely enjoyed this very much. As I got older over the years and watched a lot of Boys Love dramas over the time, I can fully admit that my expectations of a series got a lot higher and of course I want more mature content, as I am an adult myself now. But I remember LBC getting recently a lot of attention on TikTok and other platforms by people nowadays which are also new to BL. So I wanted to watch it because of what people said. And I just have to say that there are way better BL series out there in the Moment, like Moonlight Chicken, Kinn Porsche, A Tale Of Thousand Stars, I Told Sunset About You and so on. I guess I'm also not a fan of these school settings anymore. I think they're all very much alike and losing their original uniqueness But that's just my personal opinion on this. I know that LBC can be nostalgic to those who've seen it when it came out, but I still can't understand the attention it gets on TikTok nowadays and the hype that goes with it. Like I said there are way better shows that deserve so much more hype. Buy that's my personal preference ✌

The Cast is phenomenal good looking and their chemistry with one another - oml, I may have screamed 5 or 6 times out of joy and excitement when they were getting it on. (If you know what I mean ^~^). In terms of intimacy and soundtrack they definitely wanted to set the bars high. I enjoyed every single episode of this and I'm looking forward to a 2nd season or new series with these two pairings. They have fully convinced me with their acting skills and new take on these bed scenes. (No, bc I actually thought at one point that I'm watching soft porn).👀

I watched both seasons and I'm quite disappointed. The 1st season was alright, somewhat cute. But the 2nd season was a complete downgrade and a waste of my time. I really regretted watching it.
SaintPerth is nice to look at and I think they've done a good job in the first season. Sadly they weren't together in the Sequel which made me kinda sad.
Okay listen, I normally enjoy BLs where the male leads have a lot of intimate scenes and sharing hot and steamy kisses. This was everything BUT that and I wasn't even mad about it.
I think this drama is the perfect example for a very thought through storyline and character development along with building up tension between the male leads and longing stares in terms of eye contact and chemistry. I was craving for a few kiss scenes but I felt 100% content with what I got instead of that, after an episode was over. I got something never been done before. I don't got another school universe with multiple couples, miscommunication and angsty themes. I got sth special and original, which felt VERY refreshing and new to me. Like a Change Of Scenery. On top of that it was emotional and breathtakingly well acted. I have nothing bad I could say about this.
I loved everything about it. The 1st season is already a masterpiece and the 2nd comes next. It felt neither too short or too long for me. I felt content, completing these artworks. 1000/10 ❤
The storyboard is just horrible. The homophobia theme is so worn out and I think especially in here, it's as toxic as it can be portrayed. I had a lot of moments when I asked myself why do I keep on watching this? Nothing in this series made sense to me. All the trigger themes you can possibly include were included. (E.g.: Rape, nonconsensual/Forced Sex, Child Abuse, Vulgar language (e.g. faggot), Abusive Relationship, Bullying)
With all these dark themes included, it made it really hard for me, to enjoy this series. Not only the fact that the story didn't need so much angst and triggering parts, they were horribly at handling these sensitive topics.
For example Type's anxiety of, men being attracted to him, due to the child abuse he's experienced, is sth he takes as a justification for every action he takes. And that is toxic af. No one has the right to judge someone by who they are attracted to. A lot of his actions felt so unreasonable to me, I couldn't hold it together. ⚠️ (please read with caution) Another example was the matter with Tar and his experience of getting gang raped. Everything about this getting mentioned was wrong. The way they included this in the story and how they spoke about it made me feel so uncomfortable.
The only thing I enjoyed about this series, was the chemistry between MewGulf. I think they did a phenomenal job in their intimate scenes, especially in season 2. It's very sad to hear, that they have parted ways off camera in 2020. I hoped to see them together in other series as well but the business relationship they had, had a short timelength. It was well promoted though - to a point where a lot of fans thought they were a real thing. I don't want to support such delusional thinking and want to remind that this is called 'ACTING' , portraying a role, but even I have to admit that I was extremely shocked by the news of them cutting off every kind of social media contact. Maybe they weren't even friends. I think this is sth highly discussed between the MewGulf shippers and the whole TharnType Community and I honestly don't want to dive too deep in this mess. I'm just very tired of the comments on their personal IG accounts like : I miss MewGulf and so on. They have moved on and are focusing on their own career. And I think we should respect that ;)
I'm new to MDL but an old one to the BL World. I'm a self claimed expert in this field and I can fully commit that this series is worth the watch. The actors are friggin hot and the production and storyline progress is working hand in hand. Beautifully executed with a lots of action and angsty themes. Although we have some toxic issues here and there, I believe this series deserves a big round of applause for being this good. MileApo's chemistry is insane. The intimate scenes are as real as they can get, I'm very happy to have witnessed this amazing drama.
To the current situation I just have to say, that I hope the real culprit gets what (s)he deserves and that no one's name gets slandered any longer. I'm aware of all the things happened to Build and I hope he fully recovers from that. I think he did an amazing job in this series and I would love to see him in other dramas as well. I also heard about Jeff Satur leaving BOC, I dunno what will happen to their upcoming project : Wuju Bakery but I'm looking forward to new content. :)
