PLOT: A group of 7 former elite students of a small martial arts academy (the heroes) win a competition despite the dominant sect (and its evil queen). PLOT: The FL, disillusioned by her relationship for 10 years, meets a veterinarian (the ML, divorced, with 1 sick sister and 1 alcoholic father). They are attracted to each other, but she resists because of her BF. This one is an asshole who plays on two sides (the FL and his business partner) and, out of pride, refuses the FL's breakup.
=> I skipped episodes 5 to 8 because the hesitations of the FL are painful.

+++ Excellent actors

BUT very bad remake of "One spring night" with toxic, incoherent, fickle, etc. story and characters.
### FL with a f****ing frustrating personnality, and without any backbone.

Watched 2 episodes for Wang You Shuo, but FL annoying, unbearable even + Plot full of nonsense. Started again out of curiosity with skipping and Speed ​​1.5 until the end.

Excellent actors but the worst written story I've ever seen ... Really frustrating !

Rom-Fam (50 ep) with Ji Hyun Woo as ML and Im Soo Hyang as FL

PLOT: Story about 3 dysfunctional families.
- 1st: 1 mother in debt but gambler, fleeing creditors, with her 3 children (FL & 2 sons, ML2 and ML3). She survives by slaving her daughter to make her an artist.
- 2nd: Cowardly father, lives with his wife, their adopted son (ML), his mother (toxic), his sister (FL3) and his wife's father.
- 3rd: Chaebol couple, harmonious, living with their daughter (FL3, who will become disabled), the ex-mistress of the dead grandfather and her illegitimate son (ML4) and both are super ambitious. The aunt living in the USA comes to live with them.

1st narrative arc [ep 1-3]: teenagers
2nd arc [4-16]: 15 years later. FL became a star, exploited by her mother. The ML is an assistant director. They fall in love (Roméo & Juliet style). ML4 fall also in love with the FL.
3rd arc [17-28]: The amnesiac and seriously injured FL is taken in by an old lady with Alzheimers. She eventually returned to Seoul and worked in the ML team. The ML ends up recognizing her, but waits for her memory to return. She starts acting again, meets ML3 but her mother puts her hands back on her.
4th arc [29-37]: The CL is separated (the mother starts her shenanigans with the ML4 again) but is working together on a drama. The truth about the birth of the ML is causing uproar in families.
5th arc [38-41]: The FL regains her memory in fragments, and tries to cut ties with her toxic mother and the ML4. After a lot of struggles, the CL gets closer and decides to get married to escape the ML4's harassment. This guy reveals to the press that the FL is Do-Ra, and she is blacklisted.
6th arc: The CL clears Do-Ra's name, opens a restaurant. But the ML4's birth is revealed and that crazy guy loses his mind. The FL has 1 accident (etc)

+++ CL performance is excellent. They do everything possible to make people believe in this over-dramatic and VERY poorly written story.
+++ Great actors (particulary the grandparents, Ma-Ri and ML4)

### The description of women-mothers is HORRIBLE: they are all twisted, possessive, stupid, greedy, etc. There isn't one to save... The only reasonable characters are the ML and his sister Ma-Ri.
### Too melodratic & all clichés
### no real chemistry for the couples: a few hugs, but only 1-2 (fake) kisses without skinship... in 50 episodes... for couples who are madly in love! The screenwriter has a problem Щ(ಠ益ಠЩ)

PLOT: FL, a paleontology student, becomes the assistant of ML, a star actor (egocentric), to get closer to her mother, a director. She wants her mother (long divorced) to be closer to her father who is terminally ill with cancer. The ML is slowly softening. Then the father dies. The FL's mother, the CL, the ML2, want to continue the movie (despite the obstacles created by the Villain) to pay tribute to the father.

+++ A super cute CL, handsome and talented.
+++ two pretty fun 2dary romances
+++ FL3 (FanFei) is very funny, and one of my favorite characters.

### Eng subs VERY VERY bad (sometimes absent), OK after ep 30. The production is not neat (no attention to details), the editing is very bad ლಠ益ಠ)ლ and the sound is horrible!!
### Some scenes are unrealistic (grave of a deceased person on a beach? Sets for a film about dinosaurs made entirely of plastic?). The characters' behavior is excessively childish at times. How old are they?
### Most women (in love) are totally stupid, naive, reckless,...
### Lots of cliches.

Why make 28-30 year olds behave like teenagers?

Mini series about the reunion 10 years later, of 2 high school friends, the ML and the FL. The ML has always loved the FL, but she has an ex and her bestie had a crush for the ML since 11 years.

The pace is a bit slow (annoying) and the FL is blah (without real expression & I'm not talking about the fake kisses), but there's Chae Jong Hyeop!

I wish the FL was different 😅 but it was somewhere a good watch. There were some parts for me, that were boring (too many flashbacks). I'm really happy for the ML though, I hope he keeps leading great dramas, definitely a great actor.

A great vampire, a good start, but a very messy storyline

PLOT: meeting between a century-old "vampire" (the ML, who does not want to become bloodthirsty) and a young girl (the FL) who is blind and mistreated by her mother. Very catchy series, thanks to the plot, well served by the charisma of Uhm Tae Goo.

PLOT: The CEO (and ex-gangster) of a Meat company which reintegrates into society former prisoners, meets the FL, Youtuber, content creator for children. Lots of misunderstandings, then complicity & love. The ML almost dismantled his father's gang (who is in prison, then released), but the rest of the gang was taken over by an evil crook. The father does everything to get his son back at the head of the gang...

What I liked:
+ Excellent actors, all. I didn't know Uhm Tae Goo before but he is amazing in this role. He carries the series on his shoulders. Han Sun Hwa is beautiful, but I often find her quite expressionless :(
+ Well-written, credible story. The production is efficient, without downtime, and with a good portion of humor. The images are beautiful and the framing is well done.
+ Pleasant OSTs that fit well with the emotions of the moment.

=> A non-memorable series (except the participation of Uhm Tae Goo) but very addictive and nice.

Bcp de malentendus, puis complicité & love. Le ML a presque démantelé le gang de son père (en prison, puis libéré), mais le reste du gang a été repris par un "tordu malfaisant". Le père fait tout pour récupérer son fils à la tête du gang ...

+ Excellents acteurs, tous. Je ne connaissais pas Uhm Tae Goo mais il est génial dans ce rôle. Il porte la série sur ses épaules. Han Sun Hwa est belle, mais je la trouve souvent assez inexpressive :(
+ Story bien écrite, crédible. La réalisation est efficace, sans temps mort, et avec une bonne part d'humour. Les images sont belles et les cadrages bien travaillés.
+ OST agréables et qui s'accordent bien aux émotions du moment.

PLOT: The FL, an unmotivated student with low self-esteem, is swallowed up one evening by a hole, and finds herself in another time, in the middle of a ritual of calling for rain. She is then identified as a celestial envoy, and becomes eunuch to the ML, the emperor. She helps him with his aqueduct and canal project, they fall in love, then in Yang City, they unravel some illegal trafficking, etc.

A disappointment for me, despite the great cast

I like the actors, but this story is twisted and ENDLESS!

PLOT: The FL, mage, meets the ML, 4th Prince, they fall in love. She becomes a Great Witch. The rule is that a mage cannot marry anyone from the imperial family (because of division of powers). But the lovers defy the prohibitions, and on the day of the wedding, there is a coup and it is a bloodbath. The Great Witch uses her 9 sacred stones to reset the "universe". She lands 1 year earlier, in another timeline ready to correct.

+++ Great cast, with excellent actors
+++ Good fight and war scenes
+++ The costumes are truly magnificent.

BUT :
### Convoluted story line, with TOO many characters, too many twists, too much of everything... PLOT: La FL, mage rencontre le ML, 4e Prince, ils tombent amoureux. Elle devient Grande Sorcière. La règle veut qu'1 mage ne peut pas épouser qq1 de la famille impériale (car division des pouvoirs). Mais les lovers bravent les interdits, et le jour du mariage, il y a 1 coup d'Etat et c'est 1 bain de sang. La Gde sorcière utilise ses 9 pierres sacrées pr réinitialiser "l'univers". Elle atterrit 1 an + tôt, ds 1 autre ligne de temps pr tt corriger.

+++ Great cast, avec excellents acteurs
+++ Bonnes scènes de fight et de guerre
+++ Les costumes sont vraiment magnifiques.

MAIS :

A great cast, a good plot, but wasted by a production that tried to do too much!

PLOT: The FL, doctor and expert in poisons, is the disfigured and abused daughter of an imperial doctor. The Dowager Empress imposes an arranged marriage between the FL and the Qin Prince, the Emperor's feared brother (Emperor is cruel and paranoid). This imposed union, filled with distrust at first, will allow the couple to appreciate each other little by little. They will have to overcome conflicts, conspiracies, intrigues within the Court, and discover their true identities.

PROS:
+ A talented CL, (obviously, there is Zhang Zhe Han ლ(꒪ヮ꒪)ლ), with great chemistry.
+ An excellent ML2, Merxat Yalkun, who shines in this series (but no SLS for me) and many other talented actors.
+ A high budget, which is visible in the costumes, sets, action scenes.
+ Excellent OSTs.

BUT :
- The storyline has too many twists and secondary stories. It’s dragging on!! 48 episodes could have been cleverly shortened to 35 or 40.
- I know that power makes you crazy and paranoid, but some characters are excessive. Plus, it's all about the poison! It's illogical, even for Fantasy. The FL, skillful and clever, becomes a "damsel in distress" in the last third of the show :( Why???
- The production leaves something to be desired: too many flashbacks, unnecessary scenes and characters,... You have to hang on to get to the end (personally in speed X 1.5 or 2)
- The ending is too abrupt and unexplained.

=> A great cast, a good plot, but wasted by a production that tried to do too much!

L'impératrice douairière impose un mariage arrangé entre la FL et le 3e prince, frère redouté de l'empereur (cruel et parano). Cette union imposée, remplie de méfiance dans un 1e temps, va permettre au couple de s'apprécier peu à peu. Ils devront surmonter les conflits, conspirations, intrigues au sein de la Cour, et découvrir leur véritable identité.

PROS:
+ Un CL de talent, (évidemment, il y a Zhang Zhe Han ლ(꒪ヮ꒪)ლ), avec une belle alchimie.
+ Un excellent ML2, Merxat Yalkun, qui brille dans cette série (mais pas de SLS for me) et beaucoup d'autres acteurs de talent.
+ Un gros budget, ce qui se voit au niveau des costumes, des décors, des scènes d'action.

- Je sais que le pouvoir rend fou et parano, mais certains personnages sont excessifs. De plus, tout tourne autour du poison ! C'est illogique, même pour de la Fantasy. La FL, habile et astucieuse, devient une "damsel in distress" dans le dernier tiers :( Why ???
- La réalisation laisse à désirer : trop de flash-backs, de scènes et de personnages inutiles,... Il faut s'accrocher pour aller au bout (personnellement en speed X 1,5 ou 2)
- La ending est trop brusque et inexpliquée.

=> Un super cast, un bon plot, mais gâchée par une réalisation qui a voulu en faire trop !

Disapointed (◎_◎;)

I was looking for a fun and light comedy, but this series, with its very exaggerated comedy tone, is unbearable. The actors are good, they do what they can to embody their characters BUT the narration never allows you to take the story seriously.
Even if we leave “your brain at the door”, we cannot subscribe to this story!

=> Sorry, it didn't amuse me, I didn't laugh once.... (◎_◎;)

Watched for Xu Kaï but a lot of skipping, because the storyline is hot mess.

I don't know what the screenwriters and producers were thinking: they have a GREAT cast, very beautiful costumes, suitable OSTs, a budget that's a little tight to have good CGI,... They tried to put all the ingredients of 'a good Wuxia, but completely screwed up the recipe ლ(ಠ益ಠ)ლ

PLOT: The ML, the lord of the Snow Eagle Territory, joins the prestigious Halfeng Academy, to gain skills and powers, and go save his mother, imprisoned by his uncle. There he meets the future elites of the different sects, including the FL, Jing Qiu, with mysterious origins. There he makes friends with various powers (Yangbo, Youyue), a love interest (Jing Qiu), and they will fight together against the Great Villains (external and internal) who want to bring back the Demon Lord.

PROS: (already said)
+ a SUPER cast, beautiful costumes, suitable OSTs, a beautiful friendship within the quartet of protagonists, excellent fight scenes (well done Xu Kai 癶(癶✺౪✺)癶)).

FLAWS:
### An incoherent, poorly constructed storyline, with too many unnecessary and poorly implemented twists. We get lost in secondary and useless stories and characters. Some characters keep changing their (side) behavior for no apparent reason. Illogical!
- sometimes crude CGI: the most obvious is the oncle's lion mask, taken from a children's show, but generally speaking, the CGI's quality leaves something to be desired. AND this is an essential point in this kind of series !!

I'm a big fan of Xu Kai and I really like Gulnezer, but I still did a lot of skipping because the story is unbearable (and of course I won't watch it again, my nerves wouldn't take it ).

=> Disappointing series. A big waste!

Je ne sais pas à quoi pensaient les screenwriters et producteur : ils ont un SUPER cast, des costumes très beaux, des OST adaptés, un budget un peu juste pour avoir de bonnes CGI,... Ils ont essayé de mettre tous les ingrédients d'un bon Wuxia, mais ont complètement foiré la recette ლ(ಠ益ಠ)ლ

PLOT: Le ML, le seigneur du Territoire des Aigles des neiges , rejoint la prestigieuse académie Halfeng, pour gagner en compétences et en pouvoirs, et aller sauver sa mère, emprisonnée par son oncle. Il y rencontre les futures élites des différentes sectes, dont la FL, Jing Qiu, aux origines mystérieuses. Il s'y fait des amis aux pouvoirs divers (Yangbo, Youyue), un amour (Jing Qiu), et ils vont lutter ensemble contre les Great Villains (externes et internes) qui veulent faire revenir le Seigneur Démon.

PROS : (déjà dit)
+ un SUPER cast, de costumes très beaux, des OST adaptés, une belle amitié au sein du quatuor de protagonistes, des scènes de fight excellentes (bravo Xu Kai 癶(癶✺౪✺ )癶) ).

FLAWS :
### Une storyline incohérente, mal construite, avec trop de twists inutiles et mal amenés. On se perd dans des histoires et des personnages annexes et inutiles. Certains personnages changent sans cesse de comportement (de camp) sans raison apparente. Illogique !
- des CGI parfois grossières : la plus évidente est le masque de lion de l'un des oncles, sorti d'une émission pour enfants, mais d'une façon générale, la qualité des CGI laisse à désirer. Or, c'est un point essentiel dans les séries de ce genre !!

Je suis une grande fan de Xu Kai et j'aime beaucoup Gulnezer, mais j'ai tout de même fait beaucoup de zapping parce que l'histoire est insupportable (et bien sûr je ne la regarderai pas à nouveau, mes nerfs ne supporteraient pas).

=> Série décevante. Un beau gâchis !
