Can someone please provide me the main differences between the book and stay with me, without counting the kisses…
I read the book no that long ago, so for me the scene when Su Yu goes to see the uncle is pretty similar to the book. There are some minor changes but overall everything mentioned in the series took place in the book
This part I do not remember that well but In the book, Gu Hai’s dad was working on some secret military project. Someone (I think the americans but not sure about that) wanted to get some sensitive data of the project but as they could not buy them, they tried to steal them. Gu Hai’s dad was the one responsible for carrying the data to the safe place by the taxi. As his wife found out about the plan of her husband carrying the data himself, she decided to go with a military car through the route the americans expected the data to be delivered with. Then the accident happend.
Regarding Duo Duo, Aunt Zhou in the book had a son that was close with Gu Hai, as Duo Duo is with Wu Bei. They developed the character in the series much more in my opinion but some things stayed similar (Gu Hai/Wu Bei having talk about love, buying gifts)
