I actually wanted to watch big mouth but somehow confused it with mouse. I only recognised my mistake in the second episode but boy.... what a great mistake I did! I am not very much far into the series but I can see already that this is great! And I am already utterly confused about the connections. Some things don't make sense to me, yet. I just hope that this drama will unknot every knot giving to us in the end.
wasn't she actually 100% sure he knows about her identity but then he twisted things? the novel did it better…
LOL, when I replied to you it was 4am so also please just ignore my misspellings ^^
In the novel the ML actually played the cat and mouse play with her and I think the only reason they displayed his flirting with her for a few minutes is just tribute to the novel. In it, they go on on this for at least 2 -3 chapters and it get's spicy. Here, in the drama, we see just a very bit of it and things go serious again.
For the drama: the very least they could have done is to make her realize he knows about her secret at the moment she entered the hospital room and he being away when she had the courage to show herself. I mean... come on... coincidence much? And then just patiently waiting on the spots he sends her? That was the most ridiculous of the whole drama so far for me. I don't mind the kiss in the end though ;-)
You will also notice that in one phone call she says "you didn't care if I lived or not" so she gave herself away already (even when he knew atm) and the call when she fell was emotional. No clue if it was intended or a mistake but for me it made it all more authentic.
btw. I wanted to watch a fluff drama so I started "first love 2022" a chinese high school drama and believe me: don't watch it if you want hear the thoughts of someone, seeing the person out loud saying it and in the next second does the complete opposite. aaaaargh.....
So, let's go! new episode should be here soon. Let'a see what they will make out of it :-))
The good: entertaining, filmed well, good acting, fantastic chemistry between the leads! Very solid kiss scene…
wasn't she actually 100% sure he knows about her identity but then he twisted things? the novel did it better and showed more details (other things happened) of why she was in the end at least 99% sure that he did not unmasked her. and Moreover: Please remember that this role should be one of a guarded innocent woman. Her mom pushes her whenever and wherever but she is to be a naive person with the only goal to escape. Still doesn't makeup of the switch in heart of liking to love to hate and then love again feelings for ml but this at least shows her vulnerable feelings towards people, especially since what her mom did to her and ml puzzles this together saying in one scene "she loves her mother".
so all together, watching and being exited for this drama, the actors they choose are portraying great and they stay in their role. may it be the role of FL seems stupid at times (I can't get over the pictures act - also not in the novel) but I understand they wanted to show a submissive person who is greatly innocent and for the first time rebells and just even thinking she won on anything makes her stronger. even if this is wishful thinking. My thoughts at least.
and yes, mskjang should have been tagged. Totally agree with you all on that. It's frustrating me that people are not splitting this up but thinking this is "normal" drama while tagging it correctly would give us all another view on a drama instead of getting heartburn in the mids of it.
well I don't mind a cliche trope but a well produced drama. sometimes I'm craving for a classic but with a recent…
i dont see well intended love on your completed list; -) most people hate it and I just loved it - also because of the twist. And hey, it's justba drama. no need to get serious with it ^^
Read carefully before you start watching:- If you don’t like a strong FL, then don’t watch. The FL is capable…
the dont watch points are easily less then the do watch it points. better to have a shorter list; -) very good points BTW! also - for the villains pont: it sometimes take some time to bring justice. so one person can only be taken out several episodes later (even when another came in).
this was great! such a good ending! though, I have a question. Did the empress really went away in the end, like physicaly or did she remove herself out of live? tbh. I thought from ep. 31 that I will be so disappointed in this drama but fortunately everything fell together beautifully. I am glad I did hold on to finish the last 4 episodes today.
They’re really meticulous with the details in this drama. Look at the way they didn’t forget to add blood…
but then, friend, you also see the coming tears from him in the beginning scene then suddenly having tear streaks down his nose where they shouldnt be seeing the amount oft-time? also the shoes! When he climbed in bed they just haven't left and right scaddered but later we get a close off perfect paird shoes.
every time they say "you can read faces, i translate it to the German "augen sind die fenster zur seele" which translates word to word to " the eyes are the 'open' window to your soul". and I think that message is heavy and heavenly for the ML. All people basically tell him that he sees truth in a face but in my opinion he sees the soul. rotten or faithfully.
