After watching up to ep 14 and waiting for the next episodes - I agree with most of you - Nan Heng is misunderstood…
I still think his uncle is the actual villain and made all this. from the beginning we have been told that he is to be trusted and his only allay at court so I think something is wrong with this. I also absolutely think that ML actions are justified. only thinking back to those flashbacks it just makes sense how he acts and he basically said it wonderfully with "no one trusts me, not even you" (or so- not there exact words).
i dont know why exactly but sometimes FL reminds me of kim se jeong (business proposal/ brew...) so far ok. nothing special to watch but just ok. but we are all just 3 eps in. let's see.
so hilarious at times 😆for now, I.still prefer "lost romance" over this with all the parodies they did but to be fair, lost romance is not playing like 500 years ago or so but modern. and it most of the time even makes fun of a lot of korean dramas. this one... this is so fantastically chaotic but still follows a plot. I have read some comments on who is the mastermind and i have another opinion. you see, most of the time the mastermind is introduced in the very beginning already and i am betting that this particular guy is the one who will be showing his hand in the last quarter of this series. neverthelsess: i missed our girl Li Yi Tong (FL)! I like her looks and acting very much:-)) the whole outfits everyone is wearing is just spectacular. did you guys see the gold flickering in the assassin episodes coat? so nicely done (even if it might have been cgi). I am looking forward every day now for new episodes (I am thanking everyone who decided that Chinese dramas get every day at least one ep and not do it the korean way- though I understand their way as well ;-) )
what a freaking tragedy. they actually made me shed tears in the end. there were some things I did not understand because the connection wasnt there but the last episodes and the first ones really got to me. I wouldn't watch it again but I sure think it was a good watch.
that was great! I did not expect that ending but it is fitting! I didn't even know i like this kind of dramas but here we are - this was really good! kudos to all who worked on this :-))

I know there is a lot of negative - for this drama I am only at ep 15 and it gets a 7.5 for me so far. there are tons of c dramas with fantasy elements and by the comemtd of the next episodes it will become a bit dull apparently (some picture arc- I am not there yet) but also waiting with the introduces brother. I really hope this gets better because for me it is lacking the extra excitement. I like the show. no doubt about it but something is missing. there are tons of others in the genre like "till the end of the moon" , "love between fairy and the devil","back from the brink" etc. which just do it better - but again. I am only at ep 15 so it might get real better from now on. Just my opinion.
the FL sometimes just saying "huh?!" with a confused expression at some scenes where we all think the same and make the same sound. lol 😆 so far (episode 20) this is actually very entertaining and hot 🔥 just - as others wrote already- don't give it too much thought on the plot 😉 Also, first thought the ML has only one expression (cold and maybe colder) but was very surprised to see that he was also smiling quite a lot. the FL expressions are rather comical at times and colour me surprised when I saw the SML as the SML from "well intended love" 😲
