I just finished 'You're my sky' and it made me think of this drama. I'm not sure what similarities you'll like to see but it had the same childhood friends trope and the same child actor who played Gene here also played there. Although that one is different in other ways but its also really good if you wanna check it out.
i guess gmmtv really won’t top this series with any of their recent bl’s that’s been releasing. let’s…
The Eclipse is not looking bad, not saying it's going to top BB but it's the first series from gmmtv I've gotten interested in since BB. It gives me the same feels I got from the MLs. Their chemistry look amazing, can't wait to see what they have in store. Fingers crossed 🤞
I was suspicious of it at first. I even had to confirm from the comment section if the translation was right and as it turns out, he did say 'Pen Faen' which I learnt translates to "be my boyfriend'. But in reality, its way too early to be asking that so I concluded Akk might just be toying with Ayan. So when I saw what they did in episode 2, it dawned on me that the production was deliberately playing with viewers. And this wouldn't be the first time, I've noticed they make previews look so intense to keep viewers anticipating for more. This is why I normally wait for series to be complete before I start, but LM ruined that for me. So now when i see my fave cuties, I don't wait anymore🤭
Everyone talking about Khao from Tonhon, but I first fell in love with him in TOTS and even shipped him hard with Mix (not IRL). I've even being praying for a series with them together (not really an EarthMix fan, I'm sorry😏). I loved First a lot in Not me and I've been invested in him since then. Not once did I think I needed a pairing of First and Khao. I guess the gods of BL just answered a prayer I didn't think i asked for. My heart is so happy seeing Khao in this role, I'm way too excited for this series 🤗🤗 Didn't think I'll be invested in anything this fast after my babies from Love Mechanics but I'm glad to have something fill up my weekends again 😊😊
How did Earth get the lead role? Lol. Cake and Kung would be better… The opening theme really doesn’t give…
Him being whiny is different from you not being able to picture them together, cos if you knew them you'd know they have amazing chemistry both onscreen and offscreen and they are actually really close. That being said, I think Earth is just trying to portray the role he's given, maybe we should give him time to adjust into it perfectly.
Yea, I already said I got that from the comments I've been seeing. Even the ratings are pretty low. Although, it seems most people have a love-hate relationship with it. But I guess, we live in different worlds, where in your world many people adore it.

You're kidding right? We've literally been waiting for a series of Earth and Santa since 'Would you be my love?' from 7 project. What do you mean how did he get the lead role?? They are obviously perfect together.
BasI could tell Bas was in love with Oh from the moment I saw him, the way he looked at him and was always ready…
Oops, my bad. Not your fault at all, I totally read that wrong. I saw 2nd and my brain read that as no. 2. Anyway, I get it now and I agree, he's my fave too. I really wanna see Bas on something else too, after ITSAY I actually went to look for more of him, but he seem like a new actor, cos I couldn't find anything else he has been in. I hope he appears on something some day. It was really nice discussing this with you 😊
Watched this again after watching ITSAY again. Its very different (at least for me) watching these back-to-back…
It felt good seeing your comment here as I just finished reading your reply to mine on ITSAY. I actually just finished this and you really just put my thoughts into words. Oh's development was really a joy to watch. It was good to see him finally choosing his own path and doing something he wanted for himself. I loved his growth and how he was able to move past the pain Teh put him through. Once again we got to see how emotionally reckless Teh can be, the script really stayed true to his character, considering how he was in the prequel, but like you said there was no doubt of his love for Oh. The cheating wasn't the deal breaker for me, let's assume it was just a kiss, but sharing so much of their relationship with Jai and then rubbing his attraction towards Jai all over Oh's face was just plain disrespectful. I couldn't even condone his dramatic crying this time, his outburst when Oh walked out on him pissed me off a bit cos what did he expect after treating him the way he did. Anyway I'm glad they found their way back to each other, even though I'm not so fond of Teh's character anymore. My favourite thing was definitely Oh's circle of friends and yes I could see the love in Q's eyes for Oh. It was beautiful to find yet another love interest, even though the show didn't dwell on it. Weirdly, I found an edit of Bas and Q and I didn't think a ghostship of them was possible until I saw it, maybe in an another universe, we hope they find each other. It would be beautiful to see that in a series. And yes, It did feel good to see Bas again, I couldn't help but wish they could dwell on his story a bit. Would've loved to see his own happy ending, even though he did look happy and contented, I still felt sad seeing him again.
I feel like this is what is expected of a sequel. Something to remind us that happily ever afters are for fairy tales. In real life, every relationship has tests and trials and how they fight through them is what matters most. One thing I found so beautiful about this sequel was Oh's circle of friends, the fact that they came at a perfect time when he was feeling lonely and homesick and they were always there for him, especially through his heartbreak. The scene where they all held each other, lying down while Oh cried was so beautiful to watch, I cried so much. As an African, I'm more than grateful to see representation of what male friendships look like, and it has changed my perspective a lot. It was good to see Oh's development and the fact that he was really able to move past the pain and discover his own path, I was proud of him. But this time, I was just so done with Teh and his dramatic crying 🙄, had enough of that in ITSAY. Lastly, seeing Bas again felt so good, he looked happy and contented, even though seeing him still made me sad 😔 And once again, we found yet another love interest in Q, I'm happy they didn't dwell on that too much.

Thank you for your comment. It's exactly the way I feel too, I loved the series so much and yes, I'm still stuck on Bas. I plan to rewatch but I wanted to see the sequel first. At first, I was taking a break from all the pain I got from this first one. But then I decided I was ready. I just finished and I have a lot of thoughts, I found your comment and responded to it on IPYTM section. It definitely felt good to see Bas again, he looked happy and contented. So you said he's your fave 2nd love interest, I'm curious, who's your first?

So sorry they made you feel this way🤗
