I am at ep 25 and I really enjoy this K-drama. What I don't like is the possibility of a romance between Ba-ram and Tae-poong. They might not be blood related, but they grew up like siblings and i would find it weird if one of them developed romantic feelings. I would love to see family love between them and not more

It's a 7.5/10 for me I enjoyed the drama a lot. I cant say i loved it but i still was impressed by it and i thought i would give it a 8.5/10 But i got lost somewhere around ep 12. The last 5 episodes aren't that good tbh and eps 15 and 16 are slightly ridiculous. Ep 15 felt like the writers didn't know what to do anymore so they found a ridiculous way to bring some drama. Ep 16 was nice, but it felt like a filler Like most people said, the story got weird around ep 11/12 Yun-jin is not an interesting villain, it's hard to understand her. To me, she just does random bad things but she is not interesting or complex in any way There are many things I didn't understand, maybe I am not that bright, but like I said i got confused in the second half I enjoyed the drama a lot, it's a shame
Ok so goldmedalist said they were in a relationship after sae ron became an adult. Goldmedalist also said that it's true that soo hyun sent a letter to sae ron when he was in the military. So they admitted that the letter is true. In the letter, Soo hyun called sae ron by the nickname Saero nero. You can see the caption Saero nero in a twitter post of Kim sae ron from 2016... So isn't it obvious that they were close in 2016?
If i remember correctly, she didn't cheat on him to make him jealous. She slept with je hyuk to obtain some information about tae ho's back account. It's true the characters are not really likeable
Its pretty hard to answer. I'm trying not to spoil a lot. But I can say that even from the first episodes you can see a connection between the leads. The story is dark and the main leads have to overcome a lot of problems, so it takes a while for their love to fully bloom. But even from the first episodes you see their love. In my opinion this k drama has a great chemistry and I don't feel like this k drama lacks romance. Its a great combination of romance with thriller
how history/politics heavy is this? esp compared to something like mr sunshine?
It depends how used you are to historical k dramas. In my opinion older k dramas are more havier and darker. I would say only 2-3 episodes are more on the darker side
