This is the pettiest and exaggerating callout I've ever seen. If you want to stop fan service go tell the companies in concern, but they will never stop doing fanservice in bl because that's where they make money.

The Effect didn't get cancelled. They did not romanticize rape like this novel. Rape is horrible and that's how it was portrayed in the series.

It's only weird because you write that sentence in English. I never met anyone called โอบ/Oab, and yet we have Oabnithi Wiwattanawarang. I don't know if you read Thai BL novels, but a male lead from เกียร์สีขาวกับกาวน์สีฝุ่น is also called อิฐ/It.

The character's name is อิฐ (means brick in English) and his name is pronounce as "it" in English. And อิฐ is also a common name in Thailand. Why would you translate his name to Brick or translate it back to Thai as มัน loool? ไก่ is a pretty common name, do you translate this name to Chicken? @Ainari I understand you point man.

And it clearly didn't need 17 episodes.

I don't know how they're gonna avoid the rape since it's the part that set the whole story in motion. Maybe beat him instead? I don't know man, the whole relationship is based on force and abuse. This movie is gonna get so much hate if they romanticise rape and other illegal stuff from the novel and it could make the BL community look bad as whole. Even het series get criticised when they use this trope that used to be 'popular' in Thailand.

@Frenchii I think every BL series is overrated.

It's an ok drama but lacks some logic for a 'seriouse crime series'. It's a surprised how it's so high rated. even the wound make up look sloppy.

The two male leads have more chemistry than the male & females couple.

Zti Tao was my bias during his time in EXO. I really wanted to like this movie but it's so BAD! There was no chemistry at all and his acting could use some improvement.

Yes, cheating is still cheating, but bi/gay character especially main character in kdrama is VERY RARE. If he's indeed bi/gay, of course people would be excited about this plot twist.

Completely agree. Gay/lgbt series are different from BL. I see many people calling out BL series for not being realistic but that's the meaning, it's supposed to be romcom, unrealistic and cute. I personally enjoy both types.

Damn, the series deserves an award. THIS is a real gay series, not BL. It's important to distinguish the two genres.
