I love slow burn romances, but dare I say I like the business talks even more!?!? Within the business talks very…
yes yes many people would find it interesting too, these days i am in no mood for serious things so maybe that's why i find these business meetings boring .
There are people who are crazy for slow burn romance and lose interest in drama when leads start dating. This drama is gem for these kind of people. This is my favourite ongoing drama right now. So, if you're someone who lose interest the moment the leads start dating, just start watching and ignore these negative comments. Though you need to ff those long business talks.
Damn. i just read up on this.If someone says something stupid 10 years ago I won’t judge them for it now……
Omg he is way beyond pathetic. I just came to know about this drama and was excited for Lee Sung Kyung, but after watching this video it would be almost impossible for me to even watch the ML on screen. Anyway these days I'm into drama slump and dropping way too many dramas, I would have dropped it too so it's better not to start.
I also thought same as you but now that I finished the show it did not make me uncomfortable, it was a light comedy…
That narrative of the show - one type of women being superior to other kind of women itself was too much and it did not change at all till last episode so I think you did better by dropping. When I talk about character development it was just that ML asked for forgiveness to all the women he fought with and his views regarding women changed like in all kdramas one monologue, one late night conversation or falling in love completely change any trash person. I think this show was not deep at all and I just focused on romance and fluff part that's why i did not feel uncomfortable. I think your point is completely right about 'heavy handed attempt to be feminist by someone who doesn't really know much about it.'
I thought about watching this but the premise of a “man-hating feminist” that is saved by true love is not…
I also thought same as you but now that I finished the show it did not make me uncomfortable, it was a light comedy fun drama with no angst and stress. But yes there are some dialogues that always annoy me if used in any drama - 'She is not like other women' or 'I am not ladylike'. But at the end of the show there is a character development for both the leads so all good.
Yes, its really good until now (6eps released). It revolves around 3 women working in advertising agency who live completely different lives . If you like drama with some mind game involved in office setting and a slice of life genre mixed, then you should give it a try. Dialogues are well written and female are at the centre against male dominated agency. Its also treat to watch LBY's charismatic character and how she always win against those villains who just can't see women at the top. Oh and there is no romance involved,
Oh god I was scared to watch the last ep because of spoilers and the comments, I personally did not dislike the ending too much, but there is this lingering dissatisfaction with the ending. Like I wanted Do Jun to lead Soonyang, I mean those conversations of Haeraboji and DoJun, grandpa's love for his company and how he trusted dojun that one day he will buy sooyang with his money. Dojun's reverance for grandpa and his plans for running the company in a noble way, the last episode feels like it betrayed my emotions that were too attached with DoJun. DoJun and Hyunwoo are one person so they could have shown some time lapse where Hyunwoo became the majority shareholder of Soonyang. I just wanted DoJun/Hyunwoo to become the owner of Sooyang. Though, I really loved this drama and 10/10 for the adrenaline rush this drama made me feel.
I'm scared of watching the last ep because of all the comments. Among all the shows in my cw list, I was only…
But watching this drama made me so happy and overwhemed me many times. The elevator scene of DoJun and haraeboji and the video recording of haraeboji for dojun. Woah! I think I'll not forget the emotions those scenes made me feel any time soon.
I'm scared of watching the last ep because of all the comments. Among all the shows in my cw list, I was only attached to this so unsatsifying ending would be too cruel atm.
SFL looks the contrary of FL: bright, smart, open, self assured, communicative... Pretty sure she will date ML…
Omg but that would make FL and ML the nasty ones, I hate romanticisation of cheating. Lowkey, I want this drama to be the healing drama where MGY character could get off her insecurities and become happy in real sense, her character looks so pitiful rn. And the character getting so much hate like this person is so pitiful, how is everyone hating her.
But she is annoying in a different way... She is rude, don't you think that is annoying. If someone continuously…
Oh, you were talking about sangsoo, i saw the word colleagues so i thought it was not shown in any scene that she was rude with her other colleagues even when they talked about her in back. I also think if she used 2nd ML just to push off sangsoo it would be weird. We have to wait till next ep to find out. But sangsoo is not a saint too, if he got rejected why was he sending drunk messages to her and ask about her bf and blind dates. In real life, pushy guys could be really dangerous. Maybe that's why I am more on FL's side. She never talked rudely with him, she just rejected him without any reason and imo a person is not obliged to give reason for rejecting someone. It's not that they were dating that she would need to give a reason for breakup.
But she is annoying in a different way... She is rude, don't you think that is annoying. If someone continuously…
But when is she rude towards any of the colleague? I mean, she smiles with her colleagues and even in second episode, she had a cordial conversation in changing room with her colleague, so where was she rude?
Kinda disappointed to see some hate towards MGY's character, not all FLs have to be chirpy and coy. I find her…
Yes the comments are really annoying, she was never rude to him, she just rejected him. And ML is the one who keeps asking personal questions like who is she dating or why is she going on bind date. I mean one is not obliged to give reasons as to why they rejected someone.
I think your point is completely right about 'heavy handed attempt to be feminist by someone who doesn't really know much about it.'
