Drake had Alys's number, she didn't visit him, didn't contact him for two weeks, and he didn't call her. Not to mention visits, but he didn't feel any concern or curiosity for over two weeks. Instead, he hosted Shaira at his house; she never left his side at university. When Alys finally tells him what's bothering her, she cries, and all he can manage is an apology. No attempt at explanation, nothing. I'm proud of Alys for noticing Drake's red flags and mechanisms, but unfortunately, I don't think it will last long. Drake is selfish. If he truly felt something for her, anything at all, when she cried and begged him to let her go, and he was incapable of explaining or changing, he would have simply agreed to the breakup (not that Alys needed his consent). He's surprised he's a bad boyfriend. Dude, you give Shaira more permission than your girlfriend; you have no need to contact Alys or spend time with her. "No matter what the writers do, even if they make Drake the hero and Tripp the villain, I won't change my mind because the writers will only do it to get everything back on track, even though the story doesn't suggest that at all. Drake's jealousy? Accusing Alys of cheating? Seriously? Look at what you're doing. I'm so done with him.
You can't cover up Drake's red flags with strawberry. This is ridiculous. At this point, it doesn't matter what character development Drake would have, I won't like like him and I won't root for him.
FR I know the title is “SEDUCING Drake Palma” and the whole thing is basically Alys trying to make him fall…
Yeah! And kissing Alys when he knows she loves him but he doesn't is terrible. You give her hope when you not even in love with her. There is no "almost there" - you like or love her or you don't. And if you like her but not love at that moment, then you still treat her nice - this is the way to treat people you like. But Drake doesn't care but says otherwise. You can say everything but action speaks louder then words.
No way Drake is that chill with Shaira doing all that with or without Alys around- huge red flags once again 😭…
The sad thing is that Alys is blinded by love, and even one small gesture from Drake is enough to make her forget about the things that bother her and upset her. She expresses her concern, or at least tries to, and Drake throws out a pseudo-romantic text or gesture, and that's it. However, this doesn't solve the real problem; it only masks it for a moment.
He is almost there - this line is so stupid. What does that even mean? You like her or you don't and from what…
Yeah! It's not normal. She's talking nonsense about her husband when Alys is standing there, and Drake doesn't set boundaries, doesn't tell her to stop, doesn't introduce Alys as his girlfriend. And then when he comes to Alys's, he claims he doesn't explain himself. What? How are you supposed to build a relationship without communication? You think Alys is so stupid she doesn't deserve an explanation, and she'll still be with you? If so, that's another red flag. And the way he picks her up and, without a word of explanation, carries her to her apartment, and then complains that Alys went home. He didn't even have to carry her; Alys was standing there. He could have asked her to take her to her apartment, he could have at least spoken. The fact that they still don't have each other's phone numbers is also idiotic. Alys needs to stop this. She needs to express her thoughts, set boundaries, and ideally, break up with Drake. She didn't deserve it. I feel sorry for her because all that love has completely blinded her. Girl, you deserve respect.
what was that 😗 if you are already falling for her then why are you hanging out with that girl name shaira…
He is almost there - this line is so stupid. What does that even mean? You like her or you don't and from what he is doing, he isn't liking her at all You can't understand Drake, he is just a red flag
Drake had problem when Alys gave Sheen food but he is okay with carring other girl and being called by her "husband". He didn't tell her that he has girlfriend And what's more funny? He didn't ask Alys for number and come to realisation when she was in the US Typical red flag Drake
Yes, he's the worst. Just when I think he can't get any worse, he proves me wrong. His behavior is toxic, a red…
It's true, calling someone stupid is abusive. And adding "mine" doesn't make it cute; it's still offensive.'
I agree. Anyone can write on Wattpad, and that's fine. The problem arises when an adult takes such a story and doesn't explain the negative role models presented in the story. And then a group of adults decide to make a drama out of it, only changing the plot of an adult woman in a relationship with an underage boy (someone mentioned in the comments that this is present in the book), leaving the other red flags.
At the point we're getting this story, I could accept it as Alys growing up, realizing how toxic Drake's behavior is, and leaving him for a nice guy or just being alone. That would at least provide some kind of moral for teenagers.
He's such a bully, he's seriously going up up on my list of worst first male leads ever. "I like you weird…
Yes, he's the worst. Just when I think he can't get any worse, he proves me wrong. His behavior is toxic, a red flag. The words you quoted were awful. But besides that, his testing of her feelings is tragic. If he doesn't believe in her feelings, he should leave her alone. A relationship should be built on trust, not testing. When she asks him to speak nicer, he naturally refuses and does something that's toxic and a typical red flag: he distracts her by saying pseudo-romantic nonsense that implies she should be honored to even speak to her, and adds that she got him whipped and smitten hard—like where, dude? What he says and does are two different things. And instead of having dignity and going home, she delights in his pseudo-confessions. Okay, maybe Drake wasn't meant to be effusive, and that's fine, but a lack of effusiveness and rudeness are two different things. Since he is supposedly so enchanted by her, he should at least treat her humanely and not hurt her.
I can't understand Drake's behavior; it's inconsistent. Alys tells him about her concerns about Katrina, and he doesn't even try to explain it. He could say, "Yes, I like her or I don't like her, I just want to get her away from my father," but instead he gives her a pointless, high-flown, but meaningless speech about how he won't be a prince on a white horse. If he cares about her not leaving him, about her being with him (he did, because at the end of the episode they showed what he was thinking), he should respect her feelings and try to explain. Also, the moment she comes to him, he tells her to leave, says she's annoying, and in the preview for the next episode, he tells her to pack his bags. What's that supposed to mean? If you want someone to be there for you, but you don't love them yet, you should feel the need to treat them well. If he's incapable of even respecting her feelings at the moment Alys confessed her love, then he shouldn't have dragged her into it and hurt her. And his reaction to it, when Alys was eating with a friend, was over the top. I understand he bought her lunch, but this anger, this tugging at her hand—it's over the top, especially since he's chasing Katrina and offering no explanations. I also completely don't understand his obsession with separating Katrina from his father. I would understand his emotional turmoil at his age if it happened shortly after his mother's death, but it's been about 10 years. He supposedly wants to be with Alys, even though he's not yet in love with her, but at the same time, he can't let go of Katrina, even though his monologues to his mother suggest he's only doing it to separate her from his father. So why is it so hard for him to let go, even after she's married? It's a total mess. As for Kent, his behavior is creepy and a bit obsessive. He simply doesn't understand rejection. Some might say it's okay because she likes him. Well, yes, she likes him now. (Although I worry about romanticizing such an attitude.) Put yourself in her shoes, if a guy didn't understand rejection and followed us everywhere—that would be creepy.
This drama relies on solutions popular years ago that worked well back then, but not so much now. From episode 8 to the end, we know exactly what's going to happen, and maybe there wouldn't be anything wrong with that if it weren't wrapped up in scenes that add nothing to the plot. If we'd fast-forwarded most of the way, we'd still know what was going on. The whole conflict was overblown. She said terrible things to him. Okay, he lied to her about his age, but what she told him was nasty. After all these years, it should have been explained and that was it, not made into the main conflict. The backstory for the second couple only appeared when they were remembered or there was a plot hole. For a long time, they served the main couple, only talking about them, then suddenly Ha Jin tells him to keep his boundaries. It was all abrupt.
And in my opinion, the main couple had no chemistry. There was nothing exciting, nothing to root for.
This drama offered neither romance, comedy, nor plot. From the middle of the first episode to the 7th, I actually enjoyed watching it as a form of relaxation, hence my rating.

Like I wrote, hate is awful. I can't read all comments because we have here more than 4k comments, that's why i wrote: If in the comments are real hate comments which are not just dissatisfied opinions, then of course it shouldn't happend either. I knew there were probably two sides to the coin, I just didn't dig into them, so I wrote in general. I used the example of calling people who write unflattering opinions about a drama haters, because I saw a lot of such comments. If what you are writing about actually happened and the person has evidence of it, it should be reported to the administration and punished. Both sides are doing wrong and that is why I asked for respect for the other person's opinion. At this point, pointing fingers because they did wrong, so we're paying back in the same way doesn't lead anywhere. Both sides are acting wrong and creating a toxic atmosphere, and I'm sure many people would like to express their opinion and discuss the drama normally. If someone crosses the line, let's just report it so as not to fuel this hate.
I wanted to write comment about this drama but right now I don't wanna do that. Things that happening in the comment section made me speechless. I understand that someone likes actors and drama and it's great that you enjoy it. People have different tastes and no taste is inferior. But calling people who have different opinion haters it's just to much. Everyone can watch this drama becuase it was made for this and I know people who are watching because they don't like leave it halfway, even if they don't like it. If in the comments are real hate comments which are not just dissatisfied opinions, then of course it shouldn't happend either. Hate is awful. Let's just respect different opinions and don't spread hate.
I'm not a fan of Park Shin Hye's acting so I started to watching this drama without any expectations. And I'm glad I did. Park Shin Hye as Justitia is great. I like her character and Han Da On. I understand that she doesn't have emotions and gives bad people their karma and I also understand Da On and his desire to punish her, like she is a killer. They have great chemistry and the plot is serving. I love this drama! Right now Da On will be in his dark mode since death of his noona. I thought that he will have break of faith in justice when killer comes back but I didn't think that they kill his noona. Bit Na was happy when he said that he will kill the killer and she can take his soul but she wouldn't be able to do that. I think that Bit Na will found Satan and the thing he stole (I'm sory, I forgot name) and Bael will grant her wish and her wish will be to stay in Bit Na's body and live on earth with Da On. This is ending which I'm thinking about. What about Satan? Maybe this J killer is him?

They added a lot unnecessary filler scenes
