Screenwriter loved SML too much which is a pity because ML was amazing and I love his character. For me it was predictable what will happen in the end but overall this drama was great. I watched all episodes without skipping even a minute

Yes, that's the point. I remember when PWX asked SRQ about situation when his family interest would be in conflict with his wife interest, who would he choose. And he said that wife is also his family. But what he is doing is like you wrote, he is projecting his ideas on LR because they are in conflict with his family matters. So practically he sacrifices LR ideals.
When the other hand PWX knows that he was prime minister, he was the king's right hand but LR is for him more important. He understands her and they have common goal. In previous life I think they were to young to deal with people around them who create misunderstandings and that make them fall apart

Pei Wen Xuan and consort Qin?

Yeah, I love that! After 1 episode i didn't expect him to be like that but it's so funny and cute

Yeah, it seems like she still holds onto her past feelings even with the way she looks at him. I don't like it but I put myself in her shoes.
She spend 3 years with PWX and then it was path of misunderstandings, suspicious, arguing and then separation. But with SRQ she spend 17 years, he was with her, support her, his family was sentenced to death, her regret before die was to not knowing him faster. And she skip from this to her 18 year old self. It's like her brain tells her that SRQ caused her death and he is not as good as she thought but her heart it's not so sure about that, like he wouldn't be able to do that.

Su Rongqing claims that things he does are good for Li Rong, that he is protecting her. He said to Li Rong that she should stop war with noble houses because they fundamental part of country and messing around with them will not be good for her. But he didn't try to understand her, ask her why, he thinks that his way of thinking is good, he don't understand that not giving her freedom of living in accordance with her own beliefs will make her misrable
He is not ready to stand firm with her and be her support despite everyone and everything so he is doing all the shames with excuse that is for her own good but that's not true, he's just looking for a sublime reason for his acctions
And Li Rong finally understand that their goals, morals, way of thinking is tottaly diffrent and this opened her eyes
And here are the great words of Pei Wen Xuan. He said that only the man who is incompetent will have problem with wife who is powerful and wants to achieve something great

When Li Rong gave him some cookies he was so afraid to eat them and even if they checked them he still eated the one she eat just to be sure but when it comes to consort Rou he just gave up that
Even if Li Rong and crown prince are his children he doesn't believe them and he makes sure they don't gain too much power only because their mother is part of noble house
He is so focused on that that he believes blindly consort Rou just because she is not from noble house and yeah, she is behaving the certain way, she lowers herself because she knows that emperor loves power, she makes him believe he has control over her

This story has potential but it was totally wasted. Honestly? Here we don't have plot. It's like mixture of some scenes from western shows that didn't match together but screenwriter wanted to have them so she aded them anyway. But it's totally not convincing. Screenwriter wanted to high school students be broken, bad and obscene with erotic/intimate scenes like in Elite but failed miserably. If you want do this kind of drama you need to go all the way because it's not convincing, it's like it's pretending something it isn't.
And the whole mystery was predictable.
They focused so much on showing wealth (scene when Ri An is flying in helicopter to school trip was so stupid, we know from the begining that he is flithy rich so this scene was unnecesary and stupid) that they didn't have time to show actual plot.
Characters? I don't care about them. Like they can murder them and I won't be mad, i don't care. And for me main leads are lacking chemistry with each other. It's stiff even when they should be romanticlly involved.
Trailer looked much better than actual drama.

The biggest problem in this drama is age gap. FL is 17 and ML is 30. She is bubbly teenage girl which lacks maturity and he is adult man which is acting like her parent. This is unsettling because she is underage and the age gap is too big.

For me the main problem with this drama is main lead. Park Seo Joon as Lee Young Joon was charismatic and great in comedy scenes. This aura thing was hilarious because Park Seo Joon made it that way, you can't play that too seriously because it makes viewers cringe.
Paulo Avelino in first episode did scenes "I'm perfect" too seriously and it made me cringe. I have this feeling that he isn't this character, he is just playing him, his moves are awkward. He's trying make the same moves as Park Seo Joon in the car when secretary Kim gives him resignation letter but it's awkward. Maybe he should find his own way to potray this character or make it more comedic.
And there's one more thing. In Korean version secretary Kim has this "oh, here we go again" face when Lee Young Joon talked about his aura, perfection and that was funny, she was thinking what we all would think it that situation.

Theory about Hae Jin and YS dad working together seems to be believable. That kind of betray thing it's common in dramas so it could be like that. YS lost the Mopix project so she couldn't continue her's father tradition but he heard that she is going to Jeju and she is again in charge of Mopix project so maybe he wants to stop that

Like I wrote I don't know if he is her father, it's just speculation. From what we know right now he could be but I also think it would be too messed up. But I'm sure about Cha Min Hoo and Ye Sul knowing each other in childhood and about Hae Jin having something in common with her father. Otherwise why would he stole the picture?
I watched a lot of dramas and I lerned that sometimes I'm looking for the big story when it turns out that the story is pretty simple

I have a theory that might sound crazy
I think that Ye Seul is not a biological daughter of her parents. She was in the orphanage and her father went there to film that Mopix advertisement, he saw there Ye Seul and adopt her with his wife. Why I think that? In this advertisment we can see young Ji Young, she wisited orphange with her father and that's how she meet Cha Min Hoo. And it seems to that Cha Min Hoo knew Ye Sul before she started working in Zeu Ad. There was a scene when he saw her resume and was happy to met her. And when he visited orphange with Ji Young father he asked him if it's possible that someone forget person because of trauma. If I remember corectly Cha Min Hoo said he gained this ability to hear everything etc. in the car accident. And Ye Sul was asking her mother about car accident she had as a child because she doesn't remember it at all. In that moment her mother was nervous. I think that Cha Min Hoo and Ye Sul were involved in the same car accident. And I think that Hae Jin who is stalking Ye Sul has something in common with her father and her past which she doesn't remember. Why? When Ye Sul was talking about her father in his bar he had this weird and suspicious expression and he take photo of her family from her home.
Can he be her biological father? I don't know. This is a far-reaching theory but it's not impossible. She was talking sweetly about her dead father and he was triggered about that.

Kang Jae meets culprit. He has gun and she is unarmed. What Kang Jae does? He let her go because she tells him that Woori die if he doesn't help her. Charman Kim murder a lot of people but he just let her go when he can shoot tire or her leg and then go to Woori. Are you really detective?
I don't even wanna mention about other ridiculous things :/

I think it's gonna air tomorrow not today

I also liked him in 20th Century Boy and Girl and loved him in Another Miss Oh. I was excited because he got role in this drama but his character is annoying

The writers of this drama are obsessed with matching all the characters in pairs
