I found out this show has used many parodies and if any wants they can look in to it
1)the matrix parody scene (where father kim hits the detective )
2)Reply 1988 reference as the male detective charcater also appears in reply series and in the scene with Bob hair guy he uses his dialogue in reply 1988 to adress the Bob hair guy )
3)reference of the leads movie the memoir of a murderer (the scene where he cross dresses in the drama )
4)nameless gangster dialogue said by choi min sik repeated by male detecive in police station when the spoil brat or the owner of rising moon is arresteed.
5)the scene where honey lee covers the eyes of kim nam gil is the scene in the iconic mr sunshine
6)references of new world ,extreme job and go ara (not completely sure )
These are some parodies and referneces I noticed and found from wikipidea .

One thing I noticed while watching some clips from youtube is why Netflix keep on changing bg musics of scenes where it's absolutely important .I have seen atleast 3 scenes where the comedy was so good but they changed the music .I think the same happened in Waikiki Iam not sure .it absolutly will reduce the experience some scenes offer and I don't know why they keep doing it

Also Some people might feel this was not serious enough and you are not alone but was the best for me .

i enjoyed everything about this series but I think every body would agree to the fact that the later half of the show is the best than 1st .The purpose is not only to find the culprits of father Lee's death but to bring all of them down .If you only look at that aspect you might find it slow but I think it had enough moments to keep going . I think this honestly is not your cup of tea as I find the action scenes itself so good and it's better you to drop it or give the second half a try if you want

I really loved this show .One of the best refreshing series I have watched in a long time ..The lead actor is really one of the talented actors from South Korea.Hope they make a season 2 .
