I read on reddit that not only he had a happy ending with Hong-ju, they even had a kid! Which made me soooo happy,…
From what I read on reddit YH becomes King. Not Kang San. Not sure about the romance though. Hopefully someone that has read the novel can clarify better.
Soooo what do we think about today's episode ? I felt it was a bit slow no ?
I liked it. Simpy for more of the Shi Youl and Hong Ju romance. They are just so sweet together. But now I am just waiting for it all to fall apart.😬
That being said. The fiance could have saved himself. It was only when he went for the kill the Watchman stopped him. Hopefully, Hong ju will understand he only did his duty. Still that's a really big thing to overcome.
Same ! They always do this in dramas, as long as the main couple get their happy ending, no one else matters,…
I doubt its a younger version. Shi yeol has to be older than Kang San. The watchman was clearly a fully grown adult. And they didn't swap the sister in the flashbak either.
But your right we just have to wait and see at this point. And hope for the best!

He is my favourite too! Glad I am not the only one🙂
My only hope for his survival is that maybe he wasn't the watchman that killed her fiancee. I went back and watched the scene again. Its clearly a young man. But hard to tell if it was him or not. Not that that tells us anything, it could just be a stuntman.
What we do know is he got hurt, being a watchman is cleary a dangerous job. So surely they get replaced if they die. (Like from a poisons dart or something)
*sigh* Probably just my wishful thinking. Preparing to get my heart broken.
The character I worry the most for is actually Shi Yeol. I am sure the others will get their happy ending. At least they will survive.
But should he!
.After all his entire life as revolved around someone else. He deserves his freedom as well. Just like Hong Ju, who has also lived the last 8 years as a shadow. But if he truly killed her fiancee I just dont see a happy ending for them. I just hope I am wrong and worry over nothing😪
I hope the Sergeant gets betrothed to the young princess that's a way out for a sort of logical happy ending.…
His words to the CP about her solidified for me that he is definitely the wrong man for her. (And the CP's response proved he is). I just hope when he calms down he will se that too.
Ok, so I knew they were twins... I feel a rescue coming on. Kang is choking MJY. Where is CP? He better get there…
The queen is totally messed up at this point. She entered the palace intent on revenge, but her dobble life is taking its toll. Because I do think she genuinely does care about the princess and the CP in a weird way. Just not enough.
Couldn't agree more. Their love is there in every action they make. The way the look at each others. In their…
And I love that about him. That he tries to do the right thing even when it's hard- But it is a losing game, because she isn't going anywhere. Unlike the sergeant, who was chosen for her, she is choosing to be with the CP, even if she knows it can't end well.
I have to say his jealous pettiness, and all his subtle expressions when he looks at her, are my absolute favourite parts of this romance. PHS does them so well. He is just adorable.
My hope is that the sergant gives them his blessing in the end, and she can openly be with the CP. (as his Queen) Even if the sergant doesn't quite understand what is going on, he can clearly see there is something between them.( And he can hardly claim to love a woman, he doesn't regonize when she is standing right in front of him!).
Y'all do know that romance means more than just kissing, confessions and holding hands, right? Because the way…

Not to mention the CP is deliberately keeping away. He struggles with it, he loves her but he also loves his friend, and doesn't want to betray him. He is a good man in a terrible postion.
In the scene the watchman litterly steps on the fiancé's ornament (I dont know what they are called). That just seemed so symbolic and foreshadowey. Partly what makes me nervous for his fate.

She was in the room and on top of that there are witness that can testify that the CP gave her that knife. The trap was already swung shut.
After ousting her as a woman I bet they are going to frame it as a murder commited in a jealous rage.
Me too. It's sweet torment really. And almost more satisfying when they finally get together after such a slow burn.
Well it's obvious to everyone but him that is.😂 His petty rant was hilarious.
