I am not judging the characters. It was just too slow for me. Had to skip many scenes. The story wasn’t just moving forward. And had the predictable ending, maybe 6-7 episodes should have been enough
The side office story, made little to no difference to actual storyline. I skipped most of it. Should have been 8-10 episode story. I truly loved the acting .. but man it was stretched! Why do you have to show me the whole way ML or FL walked from one place to another!
Too predictable.. never once I did not know what’s gonna happen. Been there done that ...
Edit:-
Started it after watching the webtoon, which is well written. The characters could have been more layered, the story had real potential.. that's where the disappointment came from, if people still wondering why others were expecting it to be any different from typical high school romance
So frustrating. It started well. But, after almost having sex, FL said we can be friends only and ML says he will be best friend. That itself is so childish for a drama that is trying to be mature. The whole plot is he after her, and she keep saying we can be friends only, so much repetitive stuff. even after sex. Seriously. Stupid.
Last 6 episodes I watched in 2 hrs only because of the time I had invested already.
PS : Hate the fact that FL had the guts to stand up to her fiancé , her co workers and basically everyone, just not ML’s girlfriend. Does not make bloody sense that she slapped her friend and she only asked her to leave. Just so she is shown pitiful. Stupid.
She did not deserve her friend nor ML’s love in anyway.
They do not make stories like this anymore. No scene fillers, no dialogue fillers. real characters, real decisions, real consequences as much as i did not like the ending i gave it 9/10 in the end, i felt more sad for Cha Hye Lin & Shin Joon Hyuk.
I feel the same. Her character stayed the same and actually got worse as the time passed to be honest. She kept…
Yep, how misleading was the first episode when she said, one of these 5 men , one is my husband. Talk about wrong expectations!
I read some of the comments too mentioning CB didn’t have personality, which surprised me. He was an introvert, went through a lot since childhood, basically lived lonely, without parents, still worked hard and became one of the best players in the country and was still available for his friends. He was only one of two who came on new year eve lol. Was not selfish, which I would say Trash and NJ were to the people who they knew love them. As he said, he lost because he was nice.
Am I the only one who feels like Na Jung's character was never realized/lacked growth throughout the series? This…
I feel the same. Her character stayed the same and actually got worse as the time passed to be honest. She kept Chilbong waiting, kept giving him hope. He made his intentions pretty clear since beginning. I mean what was the point of whole series when there wasn’t even one another guy she gave chance or dated. And if she was so sure of her love for Trash, why didn’t she say no to Chilbong. I liked everyone else, but I am so annoyed with her character. If this sounds like a rant, it probably is. I just finished it today few hours back and just fast forwarded the last episode as soon as it was confirmed that it was Trash.
