It's kind of funny how things went From "Oh u need high intelligence & thinking capacity for this drama ur stupid brain can't appreciate it" in the beginning To "Hey it's just a drama don't think too much abt it.. just enjoy whatever u are presented" towards the end.. Lol says everything
ahhaha well guess I’m definitely not watching this now based on the comments
Well I didn't like it much and dropped after some episodes.. But there are also some people who liked it.. So what I m saying is that u shd not decide just based on the comments without even trying it bcz everyone has different taste..My personal experience that there hv been some heavily criticized dramas in the past that I actually enjoyed after watching.. If I was depended on others' comments I wd have missed some good enjoyable dramas like Arthdal and Alhambra.. So always just try whatever u want whether it's a flop or hit
You know... this drama was set up perfectly: great cast, seemingly huge budget, and an AMAZING starter plot line.…
True.. Everything was perfectly set up.. But the main foundation of the drama, it's writing, was a total mess.. I can't believe I was looking forward to it for abt a year and it was a disappointment.. Now I would never risk starting a KES's drama no matter which hugely popular actor is cast next in it
Same here..Thank god I waited to see how it turns out for others and the result seems hmmm.. I mean it's almost…
I think the reason why most people turn to kdramas is mainly their romance.. See All the hugely popular kdramas have romance as the main element in it.. This show really tried something different with a complex story but it was a bad try.. The only thing that could have saved it, was a well developed love story.. But it was a total cringe fest.. So yeah then left with nothing else, people tried to make sense out of the plot(still trying) but were left disappointed..
I haven't watched much chinese historical dramas.. Only Untamed.. Shd I give this a try.. I mean it won't be difficult…
Alright.. Thnx for this. I will watch it soon as I actually love dramas with so many details which keep me engaged.. Earlier I was skeptical when many people said u won't ever get a cdrama better than untamed.. I really wanted to try other chinese historical dramas though.. Now I can watch without worrying haha

Yeah that's what scares me abt the complex plot dramas.. Only few writers can pull it off with a perfect ending without any loose ends and specially leaving the viewers satisfied atleast
Same here..Thank god I waited to see how it turns out for others and the result seems hmmm.. I mean it's almost…
Well if there is only 1 episode left and so many things are not explained yet then last episode either would be a mess or many things will remain unanswered.. I hv seen many complicated shows and none of them left everything to be answered for the last one episode.
Man I'm so glad I didn't continue this one after the first few episodes. I see it didn't pay off for you all
Same here..Thank god I waited to see how it turns out for others and the result seems hmmm.. I mean it's almost the end with 1 episode left and I see people still asking questions, getting confused, making theories etc.. It totally shows the writer's failure with this one

Thanx I will try it.. As much as I like untamed I also think that the main reason of people going crazy over it was the chemistry and subtle bl elements between the main leads.. If u keep that aside, the story seemed simple and yes some villains didn't make much sense(I haven't read the novel though).. I don't mind some heavier and complex drama.. I was just wondering if it is okay to start a historical drama with this one for beginners.. Will there be many things that I won't understand? Like the magic, culture etc
I agree about the characters.. The main reason I had to take a break after 5 episodes was that I couldn't care abt the characters at all.. As people say Oh u need brain and keep rewatching to understand this drama but that was not the case for me..I would rather go study maths than try to understand a thing which is not intriguing me at all..Even a simple plot drama looks gripping when the characters are well fleshed out.. The major reason I enjoyed Arthdal (despite of the criticism it also faced) was that each and every character was so well written and given enough time to connect with the audience either good or evil.
Haha It's good actually.. People will be busy even after the end of drama for months coming up with different…
True.. Theories n all are good but seems weird when we hv to solely depend on audience theories even till the end of the show.. I mean writer what r u doing
