Someone finally said it!! He is good looking but really there is same expression in every scene whether angry, sad, shocked, loving.. Really spoils the mood

I m here again to praise this one(even though I still hv lil bittersweet feeling abt the end) but still in my opinion this was the best drama I watched in 2020..
After a long time a kdrama where they actually had a good plot for full 16 episodes. It never felt draggy and never wasted time..I didn't have to solely depend on the good looks of characters to stick to a drama till the end lolz..
Now I don't know when I'll get a kdrama like this again which will keep me this hooked *sigh*

Exactly..He was finally healed during all those episodes, opening up to jiwon, accepting his true feelings.. It was beautiful.. But then, at the end we are back to square one.. Now all those previous struggles felt like it went down the drain.. This was really a completely different person in front of us

I too felt that it wd hv been a more awesome thriller if he was really a murderer..Still it's good.. The end cd hv been better

First of all I really loved this.. Recently I was bored of many kdramas but this was really fresh n kinda unique in its own way...Also, this never felt draggy like many other dramas do in their 2nd half.. So thumbs up for that too. The actors were awesome

But, in the last episode amnesia trope felt kinda unnecessary. Now that he turned to the old Hyun-su, their various moments till now together felt like disregarded as nothing.. It was like I was seeing a whole different person, even the kiss at the end felt like formality.. I don't know I m just bitter abt the ending otherwise this was 10/10 for me

Exactly my thought.. I can't even name one romcom kdrama that didn't bore me at some point through its run..Agree 12 episodes format will be much better for most of them.
Yeah The memorist cd hv been perfect if not for the messy 2nd half..

True. Most of the time they drag everything to fill up 16 episodes.. OCN dramas are better in that aspect.. They stick to the plot and mostly hv 12-episode format

Me too.. It's easier to watch them weekly while they r ongoing.. Even though I love kdramas I hv to admit that they sometimes lack that element worthy of binge-watching

Same.. I dropped secretary kim after 6 episodes.. Years ago I wd complete any drama no matter how bored I get lol.. But nowadays I don't have enough patience. And also there is a long list of many series for me to move on to

True..the concept really had so much potential but they went on to make it just another cliche romcom..

One thing that felt totally out of the place, was that the whole squad of NK soldiers arrived in SK were living so easily and left unscathed.. Whereas the one person who died was Go seungjun..Really? Way too unrealistic

Well it's true.. Most of the times people are blinded by the love for the actor more than the show itself.. 'Heirs' is the best example of that haha.. Although I must say IOTNBO seems really well made and the acting is superb.. Maybe it was just not my cup of tea to keep me hooked enough.. Will try sometime again in future maybe :)

Also, thanx for understanding that I m really fan of the actors.. Unlike the person above who thinks I m a hater and not allowed to use Moonyeong's display pic lolz :D

Also, Just bcz I didn't enjoy the show that much, it doesn't mean I don't like the actors n their characters.. I m free to use pic of my liking

I too liked the North korean life part but later everything turned bland.. I agree about Jeong hyuk and I think this is the problem of most kdramas, where the ML won't break up with his fiance and still continue pursuing the FL.. I mean wtf is this some sort of fetish lol

The show overall felt boring to me.. I couldn't feel the love b/w leads.. Most of the times the conflicts didn't even feel that serious..like remember that episode ending where Seri is kidnapped(in NK) and they both talk on phone.. Gunshot is heard and ML is devastated.. That ending was so emotional n sad.. But the next episode we see she was kidnapped by Jeong-hyuk's father and everything later was shown as comedy.. Wtf was that. . Many things felt cartoonish in the show the list is long lol

Same I did a lot of fast-forwarding.. The only motivation I had for finishing it, was the 2nd lead.. I still wonder what made people go so crazy over this show and why I am the only one who didn't enjoy haha

Exactly.. This also happened to me with CLOY.. I just couldn't connect with the characters despite the leads being my fav..

True.. It might be the timing.. Around the time I watched this, I watched some really thrilling fast paced shows and that's why I wasn't quite feeling this one

I guess I m the only one who couldn't get into it.. It's just that..I watched the first few episode when it was ongoing.. I liked it too..everything was gorgeous..but somehow I never got back to continue further..Dunno why I just didn't feel the urge to continue..Sadly..
Has anyone else felt this type of slump where completing some drama feels like such a task? I don't know why it didn't grab my attention as much as it did for others :(
