Title Light beyond the Reed
After watching ep 5, I was reminded of the young girl in Japan who got assaulted by an much older successful guy who she was hoping to work at his company. Apparently hes well known in the industry that she wants to work in. They had dinner to discuss job opportunities he made her drink sake and she passed out and woke up in a hotel with him on top of her. She tries to bring him to court for years. He goes on TV telling everyone she was seducing him, she drinks too much and accident happened and most people believed him! It was the most frustrating thing to hear and just want to punch this old ugly guy. The amount of judgment the girl gets from her community and the people around her. She had some supporters but alot of Japanese are quite traditional and ashamed to expose themselves being SAd.
