Honestly, 15hrs is pretty reasonable since the show is 45mins long. I’ve close captioned before. It was a clip that was only like 10 mins long and it took me almost 5hrs and that was without having to translate at the same time. I also translated a clip from French to English before. Again, a short clip, and it nearly took me the day lol. Not to mention I’m completely fluent in the languages comprehension wise, so it would have been easier for me than JayBL since English is her second language, i think.

Just in general, translating is hard because some nuances of a language just don’t translate well or straight up don’t exist in the other language. Thai is very different from English, so id imagine it would be quite the task

Also making sure the audio is in time with the subs is the worst lol.

JayBL started working on subs 12:21am (est) today, and it takes her up to 15hrs to finish them. So, don’t expect subs until this afternoon/ this evening guys.

Edit: I was thinking about it, and she probably wants to sleep tonight, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t come out until Monday morning EST. We just have to be patient.

The first episode is a little problematic because the consent is a little questionable, but it gets better. Other than that, there aren’t really any new BL other than my dream at the moment.

I think LBC international tweeted last week that JayBL will be busy for the next couple of weeks. So it looks like we won’t get subs until the weekend. Fingers crossed though lol

Thats what I was saying lol! I cut out the « rumour » parts (what has been said about Saint) and talked about what’s ACTUALLY happening. The fans are talking about it because the directors and sponsors are talking about it on twitter. It’s blowing up because Saint is the victim. When you don’t talk about things like that, people like Saint remain the victim because there’s no pressure on the perpetrators (Perth’s management) to stop.

A rumour is like what Pedro mentioned before (Tom Hanks hitting his wife). Its untrue and talking about a situation like that fuels the problem for sure.

NEWS would be something like a director abuses actors on set that has been proven to be true and talked about by the actors themselves. When no one talks about that, it goes unknown and the director continues to abuse the actors. Backlash is pretty powerful stuff because no one wants a bad reputation in the industry.

Again, the ones hurting his reputation here are the management. If people don’t know that, how does that help because they (management) won’t stop. Everyone can stop talking about it, but it won’t stop what’s happening. And it certainly won’t convince management to stop.

Regardless, we have a difference of opinion and I don’t think we will change each other’s minds

i can see where you’re coming from but it’s not just a “tough time”. He’s being treated unjustly and having rumours spread about him.

People being informed of the truth helps to counteract that? People need to know what the managers and company are doing, particularly so the negative rumours about Saint are dismissed as rumours.

And that’s part of the issue. His breakthrough work is gaining reception but he’s not being allowed to be part of that because of the managers. They’re blocking him off from receiving the full positive reception, which needs to change.

I’m sorry I’m not really talking about the show right now.
I’m talking about the cast. Besides, the sponsors and everyone are already aware of the drama and have spoken about it themselves. It’s even been on the Thai news. The controversy is well established. It’s the internationalfans that are out of the loop. What I’m saying is if we/they are in the loop that’s more poeple who can show support for Saint and hopefully that will convince the managers to cut it out.

I understand your frustration though. It’s unfortunate that such a great series is being tied to such malicious controversy, but hiding our heads in the sand won’t help either.

Honestly, I think it’s important to stay informed because this is a difficult situation that Saint is facing mostly alone.

Being informed, using the hashtag, spreading awareness is one way to promote change. The show is great but Saint is more important than that. Things need to change and he needs his fans understanding right now to help him get through this. He said so himself, seeing all the support he gets on social media really helps him when he’s feels overwhelmed with all this mess. He’s really young. Too young to be taking all this crap from these fully grown adult managers.

Summarizing everything would be impossible, but really quickly:

Perth, Mark, Plan etc. are managed by one company and Saint by another. Perth’s etc. manager has it out for Saint because they really only want to promote (and as a result make money off) their boys. They believe Saint gets in the way of that for some reason. They’ve indirectly fueled some rumours about Saint (him being sold off to a man for example) and have gotten in the way of him attending events with the rest of the cast. Apparently, they were pushing to recast Saint in season 2, but the director and the sponsors (thank god!) are not for it.

You’ll see that these (immature and unprofessional af) managers are really trying to push for PerthMark as a ship (which makes no goddamn sense btw) instead of SaintPerth because they’re really trying to distance Saint from Perth and the series in general, seemingly in hopes of riding LBC’s popularity alone.

I believe there are 3 books in the series. Season 1 covers book 1 and some of book 2 (the order of events is mixed up, so the series and the books don’t match up perfectly). From my understanding, there is enough content from the books to make another season or two, but whether it will happen depends on sponsors and whether this drama is resolved.

Season 2 hasn’t been confirmed, and it’s probably not going to happen. There’s a lot of drama between the cast’s managers and poor Saint is suffering a lot because of it.

Don’t completely give up hope and still stream from official links, but don’t get your hopes up too high
