Seems interesting but I hope it's not another shallow story with big names.

I am sorry for the late reply (^_^)
I don't mind recommending you JDramas at all, if you're looking for good dramas with an original script then I would recommend you Kimura Takuya's dramas and if you actually saw all of his dramas, I would recommed you life related dramas such as:
Daisuki: It has a unique storyline and a great lead actress
Ice World: A little old but it's a masterpiece!
Sunao ni Narenakute: A great drama about friendship and life.
At Home Dad: A great family drama especially with Abe Hiroshi's acting skills.
Saikou no Jinsei no Owarikata ~Ending Planner~: the story might seem strange but it's really good.
Ryusei no Kizuna: It's great interesting drama.
And I am currently watching Saikou no Rikon: it has an original script with a great acting department.
I hope that my recommedations would be helpful, if you need more, let me know (^_^)

Well, I am the contrary, I started watching Korean and Taiwanese dramas because I've been watching too many JDramas ever since I was little so I was thinking about changing the air and it worked! I agree that you can't watch one country's drama all the time, that would become boring with time but that doesn't deny the fact that most of my favourite dramas/actors are Japanese.
If I want to watch a romantic drama, I would choose a Korean or a Taiwanese drama but if I am looking for something twisted, only Japan can do the job.

Hello there and thanks for the friend request (^_^)
I don't know why but I always felt that people here tend to like KDramas more so it's rare to find people who care about JDramas more but lately I was able to find a lot of people who share my love for them including you.
Again, thank you (^_^)
Thanks for the article! I am glad that you decided to write about J-news from now on (^_^)
I will be watching Itazura Na kiss because the 1996 version was very bad and I want them to make it up for it.
Also, last Cinderella, I remember that Obachan told me about that story of an OYaji Joshi so I will be waiting for it.
1....somehow this remake of remake...gets boring, the sotory is same so it is just up to actors and directors…
There are a lot of Japanese dramas that doesn't have the manga to back it up and it's not only crime-detective dramas but I agree most of the popular dramas are based on a manga.

No, they actually exist. There are a lot of users who like JDramas better but I am not sure if there are any of them who only watch JDramas like you.

You think I am JDramas expert? I am honored (^_^)
It's basically one of my roots so it's obvious that I would prefer JDramas over any other Asian country dramas. It looks like you prefer Japanese dramas too, right?
