For Zees acting, i think what happened was that the episodes were shot out of order in real life. So while ep 9, to us, happens after all those developments, for them it was prob some of the first scenes they filmed(maybe not the bed scene, but the beach/vacation scenes for sure). I thought of this when I realized the first thing they released was that teaser ep of the vacation. Because this ep was one of the first things filmed, Zee prob wasnt comfortable around the camera or with acting his character yet, as compared to how he has been in prior episodes. Same thing happened in he Untamed with Wang Yibo(hes great from ep 5-33, then regresses in acting bc the last episodes were
