After her supposed future death is resolved, she drops her diary in his house (but doesn't notice) and you can immediately tell that he'll find it sometime in the future and get important info from that - namely, her cancer diagnosis. That moment when it arrived was just so satisfying. She didn't update her diary and didn't tell him about her situation, so he thinks she'll die and is lowkey out of his mind worrying and grieving. It takes a satisfying amount of time to be resolved; not too short to enjoy him squirming and motherhenning her and displaying the incredible level of devotion he has for her, and not so long that it feels like it's dragging on. That's what I call angst well done, 10/10 for me on that front, I loved it.
I had an incredibly great time watching this. It's entertaining af, a very nice mix of fluff and angst and the end rounds out in a very nice feel good way. Sure, the drama has its flaws (like e.g. in your face advertising) but I didn't mind them very much and those flaws fade into the background compared to the stuff it does well. Mainly: - FL starts out a pushover, undergoes emotional upheaval and comes out the other side a changed, more settled and confident human. - ML starts out a complete jerk, faces threats to his own life and other emptional trials and slowly but surely evolves into a more understanding and happy person. - humour. Some moments I had to replay multiple times, they were so funny. Particularly the one with her drunk in the car xDDD - romance, mix of fluff and angst. I think they did such a good job on that. They start out less than friendly but they turn out great together I love it. To give an example of a good fluff and angst execution:
