I watched the series first and got curious, then went and read the manga. The manga was so bad I couldn't get myself to read the second volume. I think the live action saved the entire work - casting was perfect; the guys had great chemistry; there's a lot of relationship development which felt supported and genuine; romantic and nc scenes were well done. The last episode was super sweet and wrapped up the series perfectly. I also loved the song that's played at each episode's end.
I know folks are not huge fans of the Unexpectedly Naughty Futami live action, but the source material (manga) was similarly weak. It's interesting to see some of these series outshining the source materials.
This series is genius. I'm a big KKH fan and that got me started watching it. The first episode or two were hard to get through, but after that I was hooked. KKH's acting is out of the world, so is the rest of the cast. I didn't like the FL before, but thought she did real well here. I'm on episode 5 and just don't want the show to end. Perfect for those of us who like to dwell and chew on things . Deep with layers and the messages are delivered by multiple very talented cast members.
