Finally.... after 6 years... watched the movie last weekend with a friend who is fluent in Japanese. Actually if you watched a loooot of Asian movies/dramas you can pretty much guess the storyline. It's not hard to understand even without subtitles. It was really helpful though to have my friend with me to translate/to assure me that I understood the key parts.
Soulmate! ♡ Hands down, one of the best OSTs! (one of my favs with "It's Okay, That Love", you see, it's always when they add Western songs, haha)
Also loved Nobuta wo Produce and Goong.^^ Still need to watch Wonderful Life and the Gokusen series since forever......
Only watched Reply 1994. I really thought that I would root for the main lead (he was a medical student + the scene where she realized she had feelings for him was so pleasing). However, after some time I got serious 2nd lead syndrome... Although I knew it was never meant to be, there was always a slight hope...... it was heartbreaking for me! ㅠㅠ
SPOILER alert for King of Baking!
In "King of Baking/Kim Tak Gu" the 2nd lead also got the girl. I almost always suffer from 2nd lead syndrome but when I watched King of Baking I was totally cheering for the main guy... I'm still so mad about what happened... damn it!! XD
Just finished "Noble, My Love". Damn, he reminds me of a refined, younger version of Lee Byung Hun... not as charismatic and lacking in the "acting department" but so so hot... gosh.
You can't watch dramas/movies on this page but you can rate them and keep your history in order (completed dramas, plan-to-watch... etc), get recommendations/see what others like and stuff. People sometimes provide external links to dramas/movies.
They totally changed their personalities for this season! Even re-watched season 1 but that was unnecessary.
I prefer the first season (it seemed just wtf and out of order at first but there was actually a central theme which led us towards the finale; all the great cameos each episode... etc) but enjoyed the 2nd season as well. I look forward to another season.^^
