I tried getting into the novel. But I didn't quite like the translation. Anyways, they deviated from the novel right from the start. Still, I gotta say I like this starting rather than the novel's.

Yeah,,,. his role was short but he really made a very bid impact with his acting, especially his intense eyes. Veterans are different indeed.

Part 2 seems a whole lot better to me even though I only saw the trailer. I like the male lead's expression. I didn't really like him in season 1. I felt that he was trying his best to look intimidating and like a general. It didn't seem natural. Hope he will do better in this part. Looking forward.

Hmm...their romance is somewhat complicated. They are both the prince and princess of 2 kingdoms growing up as the heir to the throne, The male lead has the ambition to rule the whole world so, even though they have a very close relationship tempered over a long period of time, they can't give in really easily . Bearing the heavy responsibility, they need to make some heavy decisions which affect them a lot leaving nothing same anymore. But still, they can't let go of each other and at last, they accept their feelings and the male lead lets go of everything, his ambition, his kingdom for the female lead. They both leave everything behind to travel the world together. Anyways, their journey is enjoyable. I haven't mentioned things that will happen between them. You can just slowly enjoy the moments. It's worth it.

The recent episodes hint that there might be slight romance. But it might be comradery too. Anyways, I am liking them together.

Yeah...this sort of drama can only give a little space for romance, if needed. But still, considering this is a Chinese drama, there might be some, I think.

I think that he was orphan or something like that and was caught by some twisted military bastard who wanted to maybe create one supreme soldier. Haha...we will soon find out anyways, no need to guess.

Just finished reading this novel and I gotta say it was worth it to read all those long chapters to finally see them leaving behind everything they fought their whole life for. Love is really serious business. Tread on this matter carefully guys, lest you burn yourself.

I don't like how they modified some things in the drama. The story was more heartfelt in the novel. Guess that's why it's more interesting to read than watch, huh. Nevertheless, the drama is also good.
