didn't care much about the court case and how they solved all these crimes ,, seemed rushed but the funny and sad parts were equally balanced

I felt this drama was more western than Asian ,, It lacked that emotional aspect of Asian dramas
May be because it's My first Japanese drama I'm not used to them but overall , it was good but not compelling for me to watch further Jdramas

This drama could have amazing Bromance between the two male leads but Nope they were frienemies most of the time

I enjoyed the drama but still, there were a lot of things that annoyed me
for my first Jdrama ever I don't think I will be watching any other Jdramas

Actually in real life there are famous actors older ones who are really respectable people to all young actors and media considers them legends but they are Jerks in real life,, treating people around them badly,, Not just actors but as example

I'm watching the other drama of the ML's first that's why I couldn't watch this one now but I find it intriguing from all the videos I've seen ,, I hope it's as good as his other drama airing now

The Covid plot didn't provide much to the plot rather than the confessing scene of Mr REN that's it
The romantic story needed more time and more screen time for the couples especially after the bomb that was thrown at them ,, treating from lovers to siblings matter isn't as easy as they made it to be ,, think about it
some one you loved and may be kissed or slept with suddenly became your brother? what the fuck ?
and now voila you are lovers again go kiss your pride what the hell ??
that was the stupidest thing ever in this drama

He was a criminal and they just forgave him

She kissed him on his cheek that's it ,, they didn't cut that
but I think they cut other kissing scenes if there were any

I agree with a lot of you, the worst character in this drama was the older Male lead
The father, the mentor, the teacher, and the husband Ren Xin Zheng
he was the worst character of all of them
the very selfish and very arrogant person treating everyone like they are beneath him
the only person he treated right was the female lead and he hurt her badly near the ending

Yes , Happy ending , very rushed one but happy

1- They were officially together from episode 21 when he saved her life that's in my opinion
2-The breakup was near the end and it was because of a lie that ML's father told it was more like a pause in their relationship not actually breaking up for two episodes only
3-at the final episode they get back together again
4- There is a second female lead who was a potential love interest for the male lead but it turned out to be more like a sister to him that's all ,, no fighting for the main couple
5- No annoying character in their love relationship,, there is a character who will turn evil towards the ending and hurt the female lead but will be handled with
it's a happy ending
there are no kissing scenes or lovey-dovey romantic story here ,, there is romance but not the main focus

How did they make something enormous like from lovers to siblings into such a trivial matter they didn't explain it properly to the so-called daughter or the son,, they didn't talk in family explained the matter and process it well
they just went with surprise she's my son's wife

I think the only drama of Xiao Zhan that I really loved and was addicted to it was The Untamed
Not any other drama of his was appealing to me in any way
and that doesn't mean I only like Bromance dramas not at all ,, I've watched many romantic dramas recently I liked Gen Z Houlang drama much more than this one
also, wang Yibo's drama of being a hero was amazing but some how Xiao Zhan's dramas are very boring to me
That's my personal opinion not hating or anything just that I didn't like this one either may be next one the historical one would be better
