I cried my eyes out in episode 39 ,,,, the way Jiang Lin the brightest sunshine of the drama broke down and became that sad because of that horrible girl who became between him and his best friend/ brother was the worst I didn't understand what they were saying because it's not subbed yet but sure the feelings of the situations made me feel sad also I loved when Li Bing chose his step brother over that girl How happy I was ,,, that he chose to let go of this toxic love just for his brother that he loves more than anything
Episode 39 .... How many times did Qi Yan stab himself in the chest in the same spot by now ??? His lung or heart must be a sponge by now LOL How is he going to survive all that stabbing

Dear parents drama is similar but less irritating ,, same seventies era ,, same family relations in away it's different less horrible ,, less miserable yet very engaging and the family there are amazing solving every issue they face with optimism
Finished it yesterday and I'm crying for more please This is the first drama that changed my mind about it half way through it I wasn't enjoying it at first episodes ,, I don't know why may be because of some draggy episodes or cliché scenes but then it began to improve quickly enough and became on fire on it's second half It became so interesting and exciting on the second half and I've became so invested in it's story to the final episode I didn't want it to end and I was so sad of how it ended
