Overall this drama wasn't good, it's just okay to pass the time nothing more it wasn't strong on any front the only thing I liked about it was the brotherly bond near the ending
chinese dramas are just all over the place… except thier period dramas.. confusions starts right at episode…
The most chaotic era in China was this period,, between Japanese occupation, The western infiltration, the end of the Chinese royal families, and the start of some sort of republican era,, it was truly the most chaotic
I'm trying so hard not to hate the little brother , Until now he seems like a spoiled kid to horrible parents who favored him over his own brother and him living in their grace not caring about his brother,, I hope he's not hurting his brother on purpose or did that to him on purpose
Can someone pls explain the plot bcs I'm so confused? Idc about spoilers
The male lead was a successful tennis player at a young age, while he was playing he tried to protect his little brother then suffered an injury to his hand that prevented him from playing again his parents discarded him as a loser and took the little brother to the city to raise him as a successful tennis player and left the older injured brother to his grandmother to raise him alone, Poor older brother grew up to become his brother's servant and a loser in his own life don't know why he didn't leave his horrible family and live his life ,, he just lived in depression and feeling of failure to the point of trying to commit suicide but he was saved and some stupid female doctor decided to test on him new surgery by removing his bad memories to live happy life
Ruo Yun chooses unique dramas ,, he doesn't do stereo-type Chinese dramas often most of his dramas are unique, have too much dialogue, and always have smart male lead, eccentric male lead , I watched most of his dramas and I love most of them even the ones they seem boring , he made them exciting
him lying on the floor bleeding out and not a single cop went to check on him 😭 what the actual hell was that…
Not defending the cops but there was the DEA nealing over him screaming and then there were two guys hurt from the gangsters , one stabbed on the floor and the other tied and beaten so the police spread to catch the bad guys first then they tend to the victim by calling an ambulance
it wasn't strong on any front
the only thing I liked about it was the brotherly bond near the ending
I can't decide is it worth watching or not
Never loved drama from the first episode before
