It all went drastically downhill as soon as Hatano was introduced. WHY MAKE HIM A LITERAL MINOR? If he had to…
Not to be rude, just asking. Hatano and Mob started dating when Hatano turned 20, so he isn't a minor anymore and Mob isn't dating a minor. They have an almost 2 year age gap. That means, when they started their relationship, Hatano is 20 and Mob 22 or 23 I guess.
To me, this was a great season, and I didn't mind the ending.I was shipping Kikuchi, but who can resist those…
Please let's pray for a sequel, I don't want it to be the last season. I really wish what mayama said was a real hint and not just hinting towards the end of the episode that Hatano will come back in his life.
Just wish I could see their faces on the same screen one last time. Even though I was very supportive of Mob and Hatano's relationship if they did a time skip, I was very disappointed in this episode. They did had a time skip, now everything was legal in their relationship, but I wanted to see Mob happy. I wanted to see him genuinely smiling being with Hatano. I didn't want any kiss or even a hug, I just wanted to see him smile and happy, but they just ended it abruptly. Even though Hatano-mob were kind of my otp, it felt like Mob wasn't even in love with Hatano. I seriously wanted to see Hatano proposing again and see how Mob feels about it now, like is he touched that hatano remembered him, or disappointed that he couldn't avoid the flag.
Since it happened literally in a fraction of seconds, seriously I couldn't even tell if Mob was happy. So yeah disappointing. Wish they extented it atleast 5 more minutes to see them genuinely happy.
No offense and sorry If I look ignorant, but I need to know why Hatano-Mob pairing is bad. Didn't he celebrated…
Ahh, right. Kikuchi's departure from Mob's potential love interest is really weird, when he was the only one Mob ever showed interest in. But Hatano is so cute and his acting is so great that I can't help but root for him. But I think your wish is going to come true since there is another character in the manga that could be his potential endgame, though he was never introduced in the live action, there is a chance that the last ep is just going to turn the tables.
NoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooI came here to say Iām disappointed, big time. Now I see everyone felt the samešI…
No offense and sorry If I look ignorant, but I need to know why Hatano-Mob pairing is bad. Didn't he celebrated his birthday in ep 5, that means he is now 18 and Mob is 20, 2 years age gap isn't big and many countries see 18 as the beginning of adulthood.
Honestly, agreed! Kikuchi makes no sense to me. He loved mob so much in all the previous seasons, only to give…
Exactly. I love kikuchi and he was the only character towards whom mob even showed interest and considered as a potential romantic partner in many circumstances. So why the hell after saying he can't give up on mob, just decided to back down when he saw mob with hatano and his family. Like mob didn't even looked interested in hatano in that scene so kikuchi saying he has no chance now made no sense. And seriously after feeling dejected just 5-10 minutes ago, how can you possibly go back to your weird ass ex- boyfriend.
To stress out over a 17-20 pairing is silly. It happens every single day, all over the world. As of 2023, Japan…
If they seriously did that, I am going to hate it a lot. And now that I remember it, wasn't in ep 5, hatano was celebrating his birthday, that means he is 18 now. Come on, to fuss over 2 years gap is silly. Let's root for hatano.

No he is not. The psychic guy's name is minamoto or something. Seriously wouldn't like it if he ends up with Mob, that would look absurd even though he was in the original manga. I don't like sudden change of potential partners. I can't just hate hatano. He is such a cutie.
What do you mean, he "ain't it?" He's as cute as a button and even sweeter.
Not gonna lie, I really love hatano. If over look the him being a minor, I must say no one loves mob like he does. His yearning eyes, his nervous self in front of mob, his caring nature, absolutely amazing. Great acting from the actor. But I am having a feeling he won't be the endgame.

Exactly my thought, but like I said, some people and certain variations in consent regarding laws, the problem arises with sexual relationship, not with dating. Some people see it as dating is fine but not having a sexual relationship which is totally understandable as many countries view anyone below 18 practically as a child. 17 and 20 doesn't seem to be as problematic as the other age gap couple the show had, that freaking 13 and 25. Even though mob said, they are future couple, this is what grooming is. So yes I don't really think that hatano and mob pairing is that bad. I just don't want the psychic guy to show up.
I'm a little confused... is it illegal for a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old to date in Japan? Because my 14-year-old…
From what I got from the internet, the age of consent is indeed 16 in japan, but they are still prohibited from doing certain stuffs, like they can smoke or drink but can drive vehicles. On the other hand a 20 year old is treated as a Complete adult who can do anything of the above. That being said, even though the age of consent is 16 in japan, the juvenile law treat anyone below 20 strictly when it comes to sexual activity meaning they can't have sex with someone who is properly an adult. So even though dating would be fine, the 20 year old might be seen as a predator for instigating a sexual relationship with someone who can't even drink legally. Even though the 17 year old must have given consent, it will still be seen as r@pe if the partner is 20 or above. This is the problem. The age gap isn't the problem, him being 17 that is borderline minor is, if only he was even atleast 19, things would have worked just fine.
SAMEEE. Iām not gonna watch if heās not with kikuchi š can you pls reply to my comment when it finishes…
Girl you are not going to like it after what happened in ep 5. Though we have one more ep to see who mob ends up with, big news is kikuchi went back to his ex- igarashi, which looked just out of nowhere.
Okay, this is kind of a rant butā I know people might hate it, but I am loving the potential MobāHatano pairing. But obviously, I have the same problem with this as everyone else: the age gap. Though the age gap is very small, only 3 or maybe 4 years, with Hatano being 17 and Mob 20, the major problem is that Hatano is a minor. Hatanoās storyline is interesting, and his acting ā the yearning eyes and his nervous self in front of Mob ā is absolutely amazing.
I really wish Hatano were at least 19 and Mob were 22 or 23, so they could still have the same 3ā4 year gap but both be legal. If only this were the case, I would have been almost in love with their storyline. And this actually makes me wonder what the writers were thinking. Kikuchiās sudden return to Igarashi was bland and disappointing, especially after we know for sure how much he loves Mob and the fact that Mob has actually seen him as a potential partner in many circumstances, irrespective of his own pledge to not give in to the BL world. This looked so sudden and it really felt like the makers just wanted to be done with the series. I have not read the manga, so Iām not sure if this is what actually happened there but all in all it is absolutely a watchable series with its own perks both good and bad.
P.S.- I seriously don't want this minamoto psychic guy to appear. I know he was there in the original manga, perhaps even the endgame but for the live action it will absolutely ruin the story for me. He was not here in any episode and seeing him end up with mob just in the last ep is very likely going to make me feel absolutely disappointed with it being sudden, rushed and out of nowhere kind of thing.
He wants Da On to be by his side forever so he was playing the long game and making sure that Da On was completely…
Wow what a weirdo. I am sure in his head this sounded like a perfect plan, but out loud it sounds stupid. Well whatever, da-on got the perfect partner. Thanks for explaining love
