I don't understand the the ratings ????? Its sooo good damn wth is wrong with you people???? Everything is so…
some people gonna hate this but i will go ahead and say it: People are not smart enough or not well-read on cinema to understand the ending. That's a given that majority kdrama audience is in their teens. This drama is literally a masterpiece. I rarely in my life seen such a well done open ending.
who is the editor of this drama? idk what the reason is...less time for post production? issues in script writing?....but please stop messing with the director's cinematographic hard work
The problem I have with the article is the fact the drama does accurately represent someone far on the spectrum,…
I highly agree with you @Kate. I have a friend of mine who is on a autistic spectrum herself (somewhere in mid spectrum as she describes it) and is also a psychologist was extremely glad to see a proper representation of lower degree autism in Kdramas. She told me that she loved and enjoyed the representation. I hate how people just say that "its an inaccurate representation" because its not high or mid spectrum representation or whatever their idea of autism is.
I disagree with you on Sang-Tae's character because a friend of mine who is on a autistic spectrum herself (somewhere in mid spectrum as she describes it) and is also a psychologist was extremely glad to see a proper representation of lower degree autism in Kdramas. She loved and enjoyed the representation. So, I suggest you leave this discussion to people who are actually affected by this.
Also, Ko Mun Yeong never had genetic ASD. She just had a severe case of childhood trauma that made her into who she was. This was made clear, however artistically, by the end of the drama. 'She feels little remorse for her actions, is wildly impulsive, can be aggressive and violent, and struggles with empathizing with those around her (clinical traits seen in real people with ASPD). She is not shown as evil or malignant, and the show never suggests that she has no emotions (a stereotype common in media surrounding ASPD).'
gosh i watched Mine...she improved so much, her direction is amazing and more advanced compared to a lot of other directors in SK right now. And i can tell that she is most passionate in her work when feminist topics are involved (you can tell if you see her work in mine and snowy road)💜
Guys, I think the ending is a loop. Remember the brother? He has the original blueprints for the uploader. The…
i have a question because I can't remember clearly, where does his brother get the blue prints from? from the future??
Although that still doesn't matter because at the time if HTS's death eddy already has the physical uploader built and now they only need the code even with the blue prints they still needed Tae-sul to complete the code
also on his brother telling Seo-Hae that she'll cause Tae-sul to die....Tae sul dies in every reality. Somewhere he dies with Seo-Hae, somewhere he dies without. So we can't be sure what his brother meant when he told SH that
Ok here is my theory: since it's an open ending, we can interpret as what we want.
Happy ending: The Sigma we see in the end, holding the diary is the present Sigma. The present where the war is stopped and Tae-Sul is dead. He wrote his notes in the diary from when he interacted with the others. He was trying to make sense of the situation, why did they try to shoot him and then why that police officer showed him kindness. And why did HTS kill himself in a random church. Then we see him dressing up as Han Tae-Sul. So , I am assuming his obsession turned paths. Now he wants to know the truth and wants to 'be' Han Tae-sul. From this i will just make a long shot that, now this new Sigma actually succeeds in making the uploader himself. But he isn't evil now, he is good. And he knows everything that happened from the "previous reality" So as a thank you for saving him, he sends Seo-Hae back from future to find Tae-Sul (and invests in him too i guess?)
Sad ending: HTS on the plane is hallucinating Seo-Hae and refusing to take pills just to keep seeing her. The Sigma shown in present with his diary is still stuck with his obsessive habits but this time they'll be futile because there is no uploader so he can't do anything else more than being obsessed. I think that was just to show his character end, that even after that his obsessive habits did not change.

so thank you joon 💜
i just expressed mine

I agree with you on True Beauty.
