Girl the fact u keep dismissing xinxin character as a spectator with no importance n just an empty vessel n just a support base for the male leads says a lot about you.The novel to begin with is a female centric and revolves around her n it's through her that male leads story will come to light.The audacity to dismiss her character just as a spectator and say the whole story revolves around the male leads says a lot about where u coming from.
First, don’t we all know why Xinxin chose this script to begin with? Because it's a school youth drama. We knew it had been her dream for so long to act in a school youth drama. I also believe in the original script she signed up for, Jiang Mu’s inner struggles, especially in school, were highlighted more. That’s why in the interview, she said Jiang Mu’s character made her feel empathy/sad for her. She was excitedly teasing us by wearing school uniform outfits before the drama start shooting. Because she was so excited and loved the school youth feeling in this drama. That’s why she chose this project. Weren’t we all on the same page at the beginning?!

Also, why say Jiang Mu's school scenes or most of her scenes are not important? There are actually a lot of important things that happened in the novel’s setting:

• Jiang Mu struggles with news of her mother's new marriage and her gaokao exams at school. Her mother moved her to her father’s house in Tongging because of school issue. She had to repeat school and retake Gaokao. School is clearly the reason why the story start in the first place. So, I really hope the drama will not turn Jiang Mu into a love-struck girl who went abroad just to chase after a guy & ignored her own mother.

• The reason she became curious about Jin Chao was that she suspected her brother might be involved in illegal activities and this scene happened in front of the school. She saw her brother talking to someone who might be doing illegal things. She stumbled upon it there. Then, she met friends at school who helped her uncover Jin Chao’s past. This is very important in the story.

• Jiang Mu has school-related struggles too. She struggles to make friends at school. Since she’s new, she is initially cold toward everyone and takes time to adapt until she finally does. She meets new friends there that will also play important role until the end of the story.

• Jiang Mu’s daily routine involves going to and from school. Even before going to Jin Chao’s garage, she comes from school.

• Although Jiang Mu failed her Gaokao, she didn’t do it on purpose like some people who looked down on her character claim. She was really working hard and never stopped studying. Jiang Mu was concerned about her future dreams and aspirations in school. One of the novel’s key plots is her discovering what course she wants to take in college. How she went from hating physics to loving it and deciding to become a scientist. If this drama really respects Jiang Mu, they should also develop and show how she excels in school because that's an important aspect of her life of realizing her dream job.

⭐So her character is just as important as the male leads,don't u dare just dismiss her character as support base of the male leads saying the novel is all about the male leads.

To those saying Jiang Mu's school scenes aren’t important, are you really Yu Shuxin and Jiang Mu fans? Are you really thinking from Jiang Mu’s point of view? Do you really care about and respect Jiang Mu as a character?

I hope people can judge this fairly by themselves and not be influenced by false narratives from others. Because true fans of the novel and Jiang Mu would never belittle Jiang Mu like that by saying her school scenes are unimportant.

Jiang Mu has so much potential as a character. She is more than just a lover for somebody. Jiang Mu is not a love-struck girl who went abroad just to chase after a guy & ignored her own mother. The real Jiang Mu i knew also has her own story with her mother, father, new stepmother & stepsister, new stepfather, friends, people in her environment, coworkers, etc. She struggles & fight for her grades, dreams, aspirations, friendships, family, and love.

I hope people will appreciate and care more about Jiang Mu as a character. Please try to understand SAL from Jiang Mu’s point of view too.

I think it was all well planned by the capital backed new crew team, to bait xinxin into signing the contract with the original crew which even had Oscar winning individual for it all to go downhill with just 7 days into filming,The original crew gave a statement that they were so shocked that they were notified in the morning itself on the 8th day that they were fired n the new capital backed crew team will be taking over.They even gave a statement that the production is in the wrong hands.They also gave a statement they were not compensated properly 🤡
With all those commotion caused by the new crew team it's too obvious what they are upto though some people in the comments section keeps denying it n keeps pining all the problems to xinxin and Lil poms by dismissing her character as just a spectator and all her life revolves around the male lead just as a support base..My goodnes than it's better not to have any female leads than to begin with🤡

Baited EstherYu with a good storyline n good crew only to blindside her by firing all the original crew out of nowhere 7 days into filming to changing the script in the end adding additional new characters and scenes not following the originality of the novel which is very crucial for highlighting jiangmu character , taking away crucial parts for her character’s development and treating her as nothing more than the ML’s trophy.
To talking shit about Esther by the new crew on their leaked GC ,To using EstherYu as the shield 🛡️ for their ugly behaviour and leaking almost all the scenes,when fans confronted they agreed to give better security to prevent leakage but still continues to send out leaks by the same team,to liking and commenting only on the male lead videos on Douyin,when caught gave a silly excuse with fake proof nowhere to be found.
Everything about this new drama crew is a mess and they shady towards Esther as hell which is as clear as day.But when called out they start painting Esther fans as bullies .

They should have been truthful from the start .This contract of the drama was like a Snake/Python waiting for its prey which is after she signed the contract just 7 days in the talented original crew were all fired,they spoke up n they were shocked that it was so out of the blue .So at the end of the day it's as clear as day that this capitals crew came in for who n who is the one with backup,which is definitely not EstherYu.

But anyways will see how the drama will unfold at the end of the day,but it's been foretold it will be a mess.
