Of the above ,Falling for Innocence and Fantastic are my all time faves. FFI was my first Kdrama and will always remain special -it was the complete package -Romance,Business wars,comedy,Revenge,family drama all woven very well together. Fantastic was my first terminal illness drama (I usually avoid those) and defied all my expectations from such a show -it was funny,smart, and had excellent chemistry between the cast.Even the melodramatic scenes were very emotional and impactful and I esp love the ending. Havent seen others mostly due to a lack of time and they sound quite good !
Baek Jin hee is incredibly cute in this and her scenes with Choi Daniel have explosive chemistry ! What can go wrong in a romcom that gets this right ?Nothing ! One of the best Romcom Kdramas out there -awesome Ost as well (esp by Minseo)
Incredibly good show ! Have just started this and so far things appear quite rosy-comedy scenes are hilarious and the acting by all is on point ! Have liked Jang Dong Yoon since School 2017 (very underrated show !) and this one really showcases him well. Kim So Hyun is another fave (from School 2015 and Let's Fight Ghost ) and her character shows a lot of spunk.
Just completed 3 eps and this is Comedy Gold ! The premise is quite different and the first ep wasn't the best of starts -but once it picks up ,it keeps getting better Yoon si Yoon really is awesome in this lead role and his "attempts" to be a psychopath are so fun to watch and so is his seeming transformation . Park Sung Hoon provides a great counter foil .So far ,the cop looks a weaker link in front of these scenery chewing 2 leads..Hope it gets better Never believed serial killing psychopaths and comedy would go in the same line for me but trust S Korea to surprise you in this regard ! This is dark comedy at its best Really enjoyable !
Finally completed this and have been consistently surprised by the quality shown by the show I was not a fan of any of the leads but the cast really won me over -Casting ,even the smaller parts,was done wonderfully well The two mothers were very important characters and lent great dignity to their roles Kang Ha Neul needs to do more work like this .I would be happy to just watch a show filled only with the exploits of his cop character and in fact this show would have been helped if they had explored his heroic side more. Gong Hyo Jin managed to look pretty to me for the first time -great credit to the writing.Was prepared to hate Kim Ji Suk's character but he also ended up quite well
One of the best dramas this year and KBS really rules this year in terms of quality as per me -Angels last mission,My fellow Citizens,I wanna Hear your song and this one are some of my picks for the best shows.
This show has many pluses - exceptional lead performance by Lee Jun Ki,superb production and awesome music and one minus-The ending.
Strange to think that this show was beaten in Korean ratings by Love in the moonlight! That's the power of counter programming for you-Pitching an intensely acted and tragic saeguk (Scarlet Heart ) against a mostly happy one (Love in the moonlight ) with cute leads
