I watched this drama because of Toda Erika, and she was amazing! I love that she branches out and ACTS no matter to what degree or embarrassment to get into her character. Walking around with her arm in a sling even when the cameras weren't rolling, picking her nose when told to, she's really great and doesn't take things personally. It's great work ethic and she's become more professional since she first started in entertainment. This drama was the best mystery/detective I've ever watched as well :) I've never watched the first season, but I know it was just as successful for them to have created a second series of the same name. (which were both written from the same author as the book) Will definitely check out the first series when i have time~ this is a must watch for mystery and supernatural fans. If you're not afraid of a little - actually some - blood that is~

Person Shida Mirai
she has passion for acting and she's great! one of my fave young actresses.
On High Kick Season 3 Mar 2, 2012
ive never seen the previous high kicks, but all i know is that this season is hilarious! love the characters and their interactions :) i really adore the teacher Hasun, for her overreactions and unluck. i think the things that happens to her remind us that everyone is human no matter how you look or what you do. and Krystal's drama-tude is too enjoyable to hate XD
because of this drama, i saw ishihara satomi in a totally different light! i adore her alot now because she's so young looking for her age! she looks gorgeous with makeup on but even MORE cute and pretty with her bare face alone. i was also very fond of her character's way of dressing so youthful-like. loved the hats she and her cousin wore. (Was in a hat phase before coming across this drama; it enhanced my hat phase). ;; this was a light-hearted story to watch for fun, and i think it's great for whenever you need a down time. it's mystery but it's nothing that big and scary.
On Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu Mar 2, 2012
this was one of the best dramas i've ever seen. especially for the love genre. i love the documentary type of production, like how it sheds light on depressing struggles in love. great drama and i highly recommend it, esp. to those who really do think love is troublesome, hard, etc. i really love namie amuro's songs used in this drama too! her "love story" song is the best! really makes you feel empathetic with the characters and their situations whenever this song pops up. this effect became highlighted greater when the singer guest starred in the ending and sang this song.. :) great drama.
On Shiawase ni Narou yo Mar 2, 2012
adorable drama that shed light on the topic of dating companies. i srsly felt touched by the love scenes, idk if it was because it was so genuine and pure, or if it was cuz i saw young adults of marriage age, become successful in love. ^^ this drama also sent out messages that really do help in real life situations. it's like face-palmingly telling you things that you've either never actually thought about, or never realized before, maybe needing a little reminder to bring you back down to earth. educational drama about love life :) it's produced in the style that does try to teach its viewers life lessons.
On Arakawa under the Bridge Mar 2, 2012
ive never seen the anime, but i really enjoyed this drama. sure the graphics were cheesy, but it was really touching. it mustve been weird to watch in real life mode for anime fans, but as a live action fan, im glad they made one because im more into seeing people act. and the funny poses. it's more relatable when you see it in live action. i loved the humor and especially that arm movement that represented among the lines of: "i totally agree, i second that, word, fosho," etc.
On Quartet Mar 2, 2012
Title Quartet
this was literally like watching a movie because of it's flow going through without stopping. it took on a mission from a movie and represented it in drama mode. i felt like the characters didn't exactly connect deeply and "grow" as a team.. basically the ending gave off the image of a triplet that were exiles. well, it shows you dont have to understand a person deeply to be a team.. there's one thing i definitely thought was weird about this drama: the title of it. they should've called it triplets or something because.. yeah quartet sounds like a group that literally gets along and connects "well" but these guys were hostile with not only each other but with... the "fourth" member that wasn't exactly a member.. it's really not a fitting title. ;; nontheless, it was a great drama~ it was awesome to watch saki fukuda's transition into a different role.
On Hana Kimi Remake Mar 2, 2012
i think the remake is okay. i just had a huge problem with ..why they chose a high-pitched voice of a girl to play mizuki. nothing against the actress, but.. they could've done better with the casting. they ALSO couldve done her "makeup" better by NOT making it so obvious.. she's suppose to be a boy but she very much still looked like a girl.. and she was the shortest person there.. ive never read the manga, and heard this remake was suppose to be closer to the manga than the 2007 release. and ive seen the manga art and she looked similarly drawn like the guys were. but here.. she's totally a girl, guys. no matter how much she did walk like a guy, she still had the face, voice, hand size, shoe size, posture, of a girl.

Title Mitsu no Aji
lol honestly it was a great start but it ended up disappointing. the whole story was indeed a biased view on the topic.. it didn't even try shedding light on the taboo topic. this type of drama wouldve been nicer if it were a life-lesson type of production, instead of this "hard pressed drama".. or maybe it was just me who didn't seek for only literally "drama" while watching this.
