iQIYI what’s your problem? We’ve all been waiting for the release date, and now it’s already December 6th.…
I've been crazily waiting for this drama for months. Every day I console myself by watching the trailer or some BTS of the drama. The least they can do is provide a confirmed airing date. 😟

But is it confirmed to air on December 2025 or there are chances for a 2026 release? I've been waiting for this drama for months. Just cannot hold my horses any longer! 😫

Yes they should have show Li Mufeng to prove that he acted in justifiable defense.
Yes, that could've led to a better ending.
On Justifiable Defense Jul 15, 2025
I started watching this drama only for Bai Jing Ting. Then I slowly grew fond of the story and the characters. Today, I finished watching all the episodes. However, there’s only one thing I wanted while watching the drama: I wanted Li Mufeng to prove that he acted in justifiable defense. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I still have no regrets about it. If we look carefully, the ending could’ve been better. We did not get to see a more satisfactory conclusion for Li Mufeng. He suffered loss from the beginning to the end, and that is a matter of sorrow! I felt so bad for him, and I could also feel his pain as if it were personal. He took a step forward to save someone, but in the end, he was labeled as a criminal. He had already been detained for four years; that was quite the suffering. On top of that, when he was finally out of prison, society still viewed him as a criminal. The actions he took later were just to prove that he was right. Although he failed to prove himself innocent, he at least succeeded in putting Duan Hongshan in the same situation as he was in; he successfully questioned the whole legal system. I hope that brought some relief to him. 😞
