Probably around 7 years since they filmed Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, since it was released Feb 2017 it must have been filmed in second half of 2016.
It would have been fun to see a continuation, like them dealing with two highschool girls having super powers.

Very slow release schedule. I wouldn't have started watching if I knew it was so slow. Not sure if I will still remember the first 4 episodes after 2 weeks. I prefer to binge watch whole dramas, not spread it out over months!

Hopefully Q1 2024.

The FL must run on duracell bunny batteries and her only mode is ON, so energetic and forward pushing that it's quite unique to watch, keeping the fun of watching this drama alive.

I actually liked watching this drama. But it had its ups and downs. They probably needed at least 5 more episodes to finish the drama somewhat decently, the ending was such a rushed mess that I was quite stunned how they skipped over major developments in the last episodes.
Also the relationship between ML and FL became very strange in the last 10 episodes, they had very little screen time together compared to the first 10 episodes... they were more working on solving problems SEPARATELY... so the romance part became stagnant.
It was a good story, I see the potential in it, but it was executed poorly in production, editing, etc.
The first episodes are quite good though.

At first I was hesitant to watch because I usually don't enjoy dramas revolving around animals/pets.
But this one is well done and very hilarious.

So far so good. Looks like a totally different drama than the Strong Girl Do Bong Soon. Looks like they're going in the direction of a crime-fighting couple drama.
Hopefully not too much melodrama.

I have mixed feelings about this drama.
It's beautiful, high production value. But the overall story is not all that interesting. But it was interesting and engaging just enough to keep me watching.
Another thing bothered me and that was the voice of the ML, I felt it was a very low voice and it almost felt like they didn't manage to record him properly.
8.5 is too high for this drama, I'm giving it 8.0 just because of the high production value.

Back to the Future probably was a partial inspiration. lol.

Yes, of course, it says season 1 :) But the reason they split it up is because the government of China says so, so many episodes per season.
The other day I completed "My Journey to You" and the season 1 is only 24 episodes, but it was much more thrilling and engaging. Still the same rating, 8.7. I don't comprehend this. But yes I recognize different opinions.
For LY4EVER I felt like the first part of the first season was awesome, Yang Zi nailed it, acting like a male and breaking down, its awesome acting, but it got very stiff after that.

It's been on my radar as well, but I haven't started because I'm not too keen on that BL stuff even though I know it's popular here. Is the BL part a big part of this drama or is it just subtly in the background, like maybe The Untamed?

I'm more much prone to give a higher rating than MDL, if I enjoyed the drama. I usually shy away from dramas with lower than 8.0 MDL.

My experience is that dramas with 8.5 and higher on MDL are usually pretty good. And a point from 8.5 in rating on MDL to 8.6 means that drama is much more better than e.g. a point between 8.2 and 8.3. And a 8.7 means it's almost universally deemed great.

But I stand by my words when saying I feel like this drama is overrated on MDL, 8.7. I can simply compare it to other dramas like Ashes of Love that have 8.6 in rating, but is a so much better drama and much more engaging.
Love and Redemption has 8.7 in rating, same as Lost You Forever, but Love&Redemption is in a class above.

8.4 would be more appropriate.

I just finished, took a long time to watch this, so many episodes and the pace is very slow.
IMO it's too highly rated.

Can't wait for season 2, so many unfinished things. AWESOMNESS DRAMA!!!

Fantastic wuxia spy novel drama. Very unique.
Very exciting, thrilling. Very well written.

I can only think of one comparable cdrama, that is Princess Agents.

I am almost finished and this is a very good drama. Well made, great actors, engaging storyline, not too antagonistic.... just a beautiful drama.

Don't promote a new drama while an existing drama is airing. Basic thing. (Destined with You)
It's a promotional thing.

My interpretation of the series and ending is that, we're all human, and because it's a korean series, the meaning in the end is that north koreans and south koreans are the same. So it's a unusual superhero story, a good one.
