this is one of my favourite main characters. does anyone know how to describe the male leads personality, i absolutely…
I had a friend with Asperger syndrome who behaved almost the same way as Kunou. It was never stated that Totono is on the spectrum, but the resemblance to how my friend behaved is too strong to ignore. He could also be just super introverted and socially atypical, but he is too weird for just that. Probably his past has something to do with his personality.
Those translations made by pekochan and jiang_wei05 are awful. I made auto translations using AI before, and those you linked give exactly the same vibe. I mean, I know some Japanese and those subtitles are simply wrong. It feels like someone who made them had no knowledge of Japanese language and just posted auto translated text without editing or correcting errors. I would wait for better ones tbh.
So? The world got destroyed? If we believe theory of different timelines, the theory Kato mentioned earlier in the series, the future of destroyed world where Tanaka is, wouldn't be able to happen, if the world had been saved. The world would go in separate timeline, so Mr. Tanaka wouldn't be able to find Yonezawas letter because timeline would change. But timeline didn't change and the letter reached him... Even if you ignore theory of timelines, and you believe only in one timeline there is still paradox. They took the knowledge of destroyed world from that world, so when they came back to save it, it would be impossible because the future they saw was different. If there is only one timeline, then in theory, even time travel can't change it. The theory of timelines makes more sense, but still it kinda means that the doomsday happened. Damn I really like this nerdy stuff:P
Can somebody please tell me if this is very similar to the real events/ it presents real science or if it's heavily…
Yeah, It's similar to the real events, people were acting naturally. No one was acting like a hero or rising drama for the sake of the creating the mood. The show is based on post-accident testimony of the director of Power Plant, and the book written by the guy who interviewed people who were there at the time of accident. Honestly the drama was more like a documentary film than normal drama. I like it though. It was really well-made with great cast of actors.
