How're u gonna let that man bust u upside the head with a helmet and choke the life out of u and then fall in…
Let's ask guys, if it's possible... 'coz girls do fall inlove with their abuser. You might argue that it is not love but what is love, do we really know. How about children who still love their parents eventho they beat the hell out of them. Do we want realism or do we want what we perceive as what should love be. I get your point and I would never fall in love with someone who hurt me but they are guys, Ive seen guys who came to a fist fight with actual bruises and blood and become bestfriends. The helmet thing, I would assume White was not hit that hard or there should be blood. Also, this is a question in general and does not pertain to you, why do we have a different standard with BL and criticize every actions in BL but when it comes to kdrama or other dramas we mostly just let it pass e.g. Toxic representation of female character but praises toxic female villains in kdrama; unwanted kiss but every het drama there is, i rarely see complaints; falling inlove with someone who hurt you/abuse you but every version of Hana Yori Dango /F4/Meteor Garden is quite popular and sees the male lead as some sort of romantic. Maybe you also question that type of shows but we have to admit complaints of these kind are more common in BL than in hetero dramas.
After episode 7 I finally know why I can't connect with Not Me. I totally agree with the message conveyed but…
IMO, it might be intentional on the part of the director and script writer, in the era of people NOT reading beyond the headlines, subtlety is no longer a good way to deliver your message. Particularly in thailand, I think, they do have laws that criminalize people who insults the monarchy, which basically curtail their freedom of speech.
Sidenote: just to give you an idea, when I was doing a tour in thailand I asked my guide about the wives of the king, basically a general question, the guide told me he cannot say anything negative about the king, it's a crime.
Watcher: the pacing is slowMorons obsessed with their beloved show: its bc you're too dumb to get itWatcher: I…
😂😂😂 But this is not exclusive to Not Me fans... I could point you to several fandom that would literally hunt you down and skin you alive for breathing anything negative to their fave BL show or ship... 😂😂😂
Just dropped another airing drama thanks to the cancer filler toxic comments and replies, taking a damn drama…
You should just blocked them. I get that some people dont like certain drama, i like Not Me - i know Im a bit biased coz I really like Gun Atp. and I also know that not everyone would like the drama but some are just sh*tting on it to the nth level and plain nasty, so I just blocked them. 😂. I dont need that type of energy in my life. Ive only blocked one here 😂😂, so far.
One of the reason why I love Not Me is because the BL romance is presented like an afterthought of the story. I mean, their world is imploding and they are risking their lives for their ideals, the least of anyone's concern would be the gender they are attracted to. It's like, it is saying that in the grand scheme of things and with all the problems in the world your gender and sexuality should be the least of anyone's concern.
PS, stop sh*tting on Not Me, I get that you dont like it but the audacity to say that BL should only focus on LGBTQIA+ issues, SRSLY?
Everyone is appreciating Off's acting while me wondering how does Gun control his facial muscles and veins to make the choking scene so realistic and also making it seem that the white powder really taste nasty
I think the problem is, you already put the story into a box on how it should progress. You have a preconceived…
You are overanalyzing everything, you are under the impression that when persons' behavior changesor a person's memory is not lining up, immediately someone would suspect that it is a different person. Noone would jump to the conclusion that someone, maybe a twin is impersonating someone. A gap in memory could be attributed to simple forgetfulness, not being able to do a specific skill, could be attributed to not being in the mood. As Ive said people are innately selfish and dont second guess their friends, and noone jumps to the conclusion that maybe my friend was switched. Also, what we saw on the initial trailer and the plot was pretty vague and political activism/rebellion maybe dangerous but college students has this devil-may-care attitude and rarely thinks about the consequences of their action and tends to do something first and think about it later
I didn't watch any of F4 series b4 just few episodes from BOF n got me into Kdrama but I didn't complete it bcoz…
In every version of BOF, I always liked the 2nd male lead and hated the ML. Who in their right mind would like a bully, who tortured you, physically and emotionally, and almost got you sexually harassed. As for your question, yes the 2nd male lead is still the nice one.
Ok guys, I have something unpopular to say and I am wondering if anyone else out there is feeling the same as…
I think the problem is, you already put the story into a box on how it should progress. You have a preconceived notion on how white should impersonate black, how he should act and react. In reality people are innately selfish, rarely would they see subtle changes of a person and even if they did, they would barely think about it or even justify it as a normal changes that a person goes through, the last thing you would think about is maybe that person is being impersonated by his/her twin. You romanticize this idea that, if you knew a person or maybe even love a person, you would notice every little changes he/she makes, hence they should study a person first before they impersonate that person. I like that white just proceeded with impersonating black, it is much more realistic in a sense that people live in their own bubble and they barely question what is presented to them.
I'm obviously joking but I'm so lost as to why people aren't obsessed with this it's incredible!
It is more of a Political drama than a BL genre... And tbh, fans of BL genre are one of the most pretentious group of fans, kept on clamoring for quality BL and how they want realistic BL, but in reality they only focus on kisses and good looking actors... which is okay in my opinion and to each his own but they would never admit it... lol
2nd episode is so good.... You can actually feel the characters' emotion on the screen. The wide eyed, confused, in over his head White... People saying that they cant see Gun as a hardened gang member, lol, well the character that is being shown is White, who is a straight rule following recently graduated student.
Sidenote: just to give you an idea, when I was doing a tour in thailand I asked my guide about the wives of the king, basically a general question, the guide told me he cannot say anything negative about the king, it's a crime.
SeanWhite - the chemistry that slowly builds up
GramBlack - still loading
